I was wondering if you could give me some advice. I have just sold my 1995 Mercedes E220 SE which I really enjoyed owning.
I am looking around at the moment for something different. I am not your typical owner I suppose of a GS300 as I am only 23 but I am absolutely car mad and think that cars like this are exceptional value used.
The car I am considering is a 1998 GS300 S which I know does not have leather etc but I am not too bothered by this.
The car is in Astral black and has covered 41000 miles. What I am wanting to know is what are they like in terms of running costs if I do say 10,000 miles a year?
Any tips / thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
MANY THANKS
CHRIS

Thanks,
Yes the car is from Lexus, so it will be serviced before sale (if it needs to be). Sounds encouraging about the running costs, could I really expect 30 mpg if I drive in gently, that is only slightly lower than my 4 cylinder Merc!
