Slightly different answer - I have filled mine up 11 times since purchase
First column is trip mpg
Second column is overall mpg
34.68 34.68
31.64 33.12
25.89 31.07
28.18 30.03
29.16 29.80
28.65 29.56
27.11 29.21
27.78 28.99
28.17 28.89
29.62 28.96
30.21 29.08
Sad that I have such accurate figures eh?
Same year same problem and I have factory-fitted spoiler. I gaffer-taped a bag of cement just behind the spoiler - recent rain just started to harden it off!
Just completed 2nd month of ownership (1600 miles) and must say surprised to return 29 mpg overall having heard the tales of poor mpg. [Not pussyfooting - have hit the rev limiter on a number of occasions - scared me first time]
I think you can see the manual adjustment knobs in the pic also looks like standard sill protectors and no sport grill. As said may be europe/UK differences
As mentioned earlier, got one of the late 05 IS 200's with bits that don't match the handbook etc:
1. What tyre pressure for 18 inch please? - the sticker on door post only mentions 16s and 17s, as does the handbook.
2. Why does the handbook recommend turning off 'auto lights' when leaving the car for lengthy period? - what can be consuming juice in such a system?
3. Where are speakers 7 and 8? - from an earlier post there are only 2 on back shelf?
4. Is there a separate handbook for satnav and can it be downloaded from anywhere?
Thanks for any help
