i had to wait two weeks for my rear struts to arrive from japan.. so maybe thats why you had to wait.. strange why they are different for each side...

i will have to try that out on mine too... my A/C comes on when selecting the w/screen.. also the same on MR2's.. probably the same for all toyotas that have A/C

Tony.. do you have any pics of your Windom?/ Your the only guy I know who has a windom as well... pretty rare in the UK! When did you have your struts replaced? I am due to replace mine and I am looking forward to the nice new ride :)

Hi phil, Habe you ever tried Direct line? When i first got my motor I paid over £1000 plus £300 excess for an import 3 Ltr ES300 Year later called Direct Line and got it for £500 with £300 excess.. i am 30 with full no claims and 3 points. Let me know if you have tried them.. if not give them a call and see what they can do it for and let us know :)

nope... easier to get parts than mine... most of the parts for mine are available in this country... just things like suspension i have to order from Japan

thats why mine and a few other people have a very special car :) I think the ES was released in the middle east though. They certainly are not in the UK.

are you inporting in or is it already in the country? The insurance will require a Thatcham approved alarm/imob ... i pay £500 a year with Direct line ... and I am 30 with full no claims. shouldnt be much of a difference if any good luck with buying your altezza... that will come fully loaded right? and for the same price as a UK spec
