Some members have posted links in the lexus parts and modifications section of the site
http://www.teamlexus.co.uk/html/modules.ph...inks&file=index
I havent been to all of these sites.. and I guess it won't be long before a few members post the answer here. :)
Cheers

yeah,,, i have a rare Lexus... that special enough
:P at SuperchargedIS200 LOL
I will try and give him a call this week sammy.. no probs.. thanks for the info
i got michelin pilots and found them to be grippy but a lil noisey to the cheap ones that i had on the car when i bogt them... they handle well! i paid £78 each
coolant burning was an option i was going to mention.. but did not want to make you worried of something that is usally normal. I would definatly get it checked out through.. shoudnt really do it when hot... mine does sometimes though but mines an old 92.. so sometimes expected :)
Cheers
Steve
i apologise for my mistake...
you shoudnt come across any problems as it is common practice to import from Europe nowdays.
Heer is a site that has alot of info on importing
http://www.carimporting.co.uk/
does that include SVA?
Also look out for brake pads through SVA.. they are alot harder than the UK spec... but these can be changed easily.
If the Tyres are not E-stamped then they are illegal, so best wear those tyres out as quick as possible.
Tip to look out for to see if the car has been looked after. Look for red coolant in the water system.. if it is clean and Ribena red then there is a good chance that it will be looked after.
How old is your import?
Hey guys and Gals..
Bit of a Team Lexus Survey going on here... we need to know how you found the Team Lexus website.. was it from a search engine or a link from another site.. we would really be interested to know.
Cheers in advance :)

richie... there are now checks on all cars that come in the country so should be the same for you.
It will be quite hard nowdays to get a stolen car in the country... watch out for the left hand drive imported motors... ouch
but richie if you ever decide to get something imported you should speak to the guys at New Era.
who are you importing through.. i know of a really good dealer if you need one.. i have had experience with the dealer i know.
There are some great savings to be had.. plus alot more goodies too :)
importing is quite easy if you know the right person over in Japan.
If you need more info you need to contact Miquel of http://www.neweraimports.com/.. we have used ths guy before and always picks nice motors. He has a good eye for quality.
