  7. any paint can be made up into an aerosol spray Look at the chassis plate and take the colour number and take it in to a accessory store( not sure if halfords do this) I paid £3 for a made up aerosol and £3 touch up paint just by giving them the color code. they did not even ask what car it was for.

  13. claire see me overtake?... what was holding you up claire? You left ages before us! The wind was a bummer.. and that traffic! Hey Simon did you see all those lexus cars .. i saw 4 that were not with us 2 LS400's and 2 IS200's .. quite odd to see so many lexi's in one hundred yards of each other.
  14. if they do.. could they remind the bloke at the gate the the Toyota Owners Club will be attending with us.... Not that it will be a problem
  15. just found this website http://www.lexusdash.com/ might be worth taking a look
  16. The needles are normal to burn out.. it was a design flaw that Lexus designed on these. Not sure about the lighting behind the dash, but my suggestion to stop your needles burning out altogether is to keep your dash lighting as low as possible. This preserves the neon needles.. Apparently replacement needles are expensive unless you can find a Scapped LS.
  17. Seems like i have a strange problem Seem to have a proble with the car conking out when i start it. Went shopping and came back and went to start the car 2 secons later when the revs dropped from starting it just stopped... tried it a second time and it did it again I have experienced this 3 times now... When its cold it is ok as the choke keeps the rev up. What is weird is that when i revved the car up it ticks over nicely normally... just seems when i start the car she conks out again... Any suggestions Dirty Air filter? Leaky air intake apart from that seems to run sweet
  18. Does anyone listen to Winamp radio? Wow.. nice to hear pre radio with no adverts and daft DJ telling corny jokes.. and whats better is that its almost CD quality! for those who have not seen the light download it here http://www.winamp.com Then from the front page select your taste!
  19. ahhh how refreshing to know you have an extra hour in bed...
  20. hmmm that not like that on mine.. when i finish with the wipers they tuck themselves away. The reason why it is hard to replace them is because the wiper arm is restricted even when full extended
  21. I can help you with the wiper All you need to do is put the wipers up so they are vertical ( stop ignition when they are up) Then lift your bonnet and undo the bolt on the whole wiprer arm and then replace wiper blade and place the whole arm back and replace the bolt. (very easy) Please note... use a bit of masking tape to mark where the wiper was originally.. otherwise if you put the wiper back in the wrong postition then yo will have problems with the wiper knocking the botton wiper stop. You should have the wiper sit just before the stopper when the wipers are off making sure they do not touch the stopper. I take it when you turn the wipers off they tuck under the bonnet.
