the tip is to put tin Foil over the grill.. like you see people on mark II escorts! Keeps it all nice and snug! -
would be interested in seeing pics of that I tried to strip mine and found out there was no chrome underneath... so gave up (not a GS) However, as mine is metal i could have it chromed properly.. or gold plated by midas.

Te red button in front of the gear knob is so you can move the shifter without the keys in the ignition. When the keys are not in the ignition it is impossible to move... keep your finger on the red button and the shifter is able to move. handy if you want to roll the car back a bit without having to get your keys out etc.

ahhhh that might be under the big metal plate at the front of the car.. have not lifted it yet.. think it is called a bonnet!

After 2 years i have just figured that I have electric seat belt retracters on my motor. When i turn the ignition off the seat belts retract.. when the engine is on the seat belts do not feel as tight as whith the engine off. yeah no big deal.. but better with than without! the list of goodies grow.. even after 2 years of ownership!

Well matt! I was starting to thing you were really clever when you starting talking about a Venturi... What guts me is i knew the answer... but I have not been following the thread.. so i could have looked real clever.. just for a moment!

well today i was actually taking a look my self in my friends IS and thought it was not too bad! Being very tall myself like fluff I need the drivers seat all the way back.. so the person behind would be a little restricted. Best thing is to go and have a test drive... you might be suprised! :)
