  1. Front grilles available http://www.goldmembers.co.uk/loc/forums/vi...der=asc&start=0 goldies only get your name down very quick guys!!!
  2. common problems with soarers as London Bill recommends lookut for; Common Issues; Worn/smokey turbos, Nackered air suspension struts on the V8, leaking PAS pump, Worn lower arm & steering rack bushes, Blinkydash, Non working Air-Con, leaking rad top tank, yellowed h/lamps.
  3. i reckon the soarer TT handles very well for its size... eats my brothers MR2 and he knows it! I doubt it will have the Turbo version MR2.. but no way does the MR2 get the looks as what the soarer does! providing you have the right tyres it handles like its on rails as the suspension stiffens when cornering (electronic suspension) and also stiffens on braking hard One good thing is that you can adjust the suspension to stay on Track mode.. the suspension will be very hard and the steering will be alot stiffer... if you like alot of corners then this car does it very well. Uou can leave it like this but i find the suspension stiff enough not to make the ride horrible. Remember most soarers have auto boxes... I sometimes wish i had this to be honest.. but thats because i am lazy.. i have lots of fun playing with the manual version... but manuals are hard to come by. I suggest you have a play in one... get to take it out and mate... when you get a clear straight road and its safe.. stick your foot to the floor! love it!
  4. the TT is only half second quicker apparently V8 with the right exhaust sounds like a beast! Although i really love the note of the standard TT.. but then it sounds better on a manual
  5. its gotta be me drifting on roundabouts one handed whilst racing a BMW
  6. i'll give you £200 for it :P I have had Is200s on loan before and people never used to give it much attention but i am not kidding you.. everyday i get a good comment about the soarer... i was parking up yestarday and I had the windows down.. guy walks buy with his wife and i heard him say "thats a nice motor" Outside the solicitors yesterday and they decorators said "leave us ya keys mate... we wanna take it for a spin" Gave a young lass a ride home .. she says "nice car steve"... i drop diwn.. turbos kick in.. she now says " I looooove this car.. i want it.. I want it... you could certainly pull me steve" I of course licked my eyebrow! Worth keeping mate.. spend some money on it.. they are amazing cars!

  10. i cant stop laughing.. the pikeys are clearing the rubbish and they have had to put their flashing beacon on top of the their transit tipper.... I had to take caution thing is its a quiet road.. i am giggling how pathetic they look! the wagon is well over loaded.. and i can see that being dumped somewhere illegally the first load only took them 5 mins... the nearest trade dump is 30 mins away!
  11. fine motor indeed.. i nearly purcahsed one myself.. but i got an SC in the end at a good price The LS will go on forever if you service it regullarly. Check to make sure the timing belt has been done... its a costly repair but if it is done then you can rest assure you will be ok for another 50K go for it... you wont be dissapointed!
  12. blimey... i normally dont even answer the door... i am behind the net curtain like a freak
  13. man.. that is the best deal i have ever heard! you should invest and get it fixed.. they are worth a few grand! or keep it... very fine motors indeed!
  14. sell it privatly... although i would expect the buyer would be suspect to your story.. even though its true perhaps you can point them here. I would have the suspension changed.. it would be worth it if you actually like the car!
  15. they have finished and gone.. they have left 4 ton of rubbel across the street blocking the path they have laid the tarmac at about 3/4 inch thick.... bumpy and looks a right mess... i wish i had the camera... would have been a laugh!

  19. Yes... but its only the ODO area some have complete blackout Its very common problem
  20. Outside my old officer was a stip of tarmac.. i always wondered why this large strip was there and the rest of the inustrail estate was gravel apparently the landlord was scammed... threatened and all here is another scam... be careful of this one as even i was fooled A guy comes to the door out of breath... claims that has has an information pack and asked for a signature to say we got the pack as it was required by them turned out it was a salesman for London Electricity and I had signed over our original contract with southern electric and swapped to London eletric As an FSB member at the time I soon got that changed immediatly. What a complete fool I was.. turns out my grandfather was scmammed by the same guy too! We went ballistic!
  21. i wish i never lent my digi cam out... this would make an interesting photo opportunity!
  22. We have had alot of Irish Gypsey tarmc guys knocking on the door asking if we want our driveway doing... Not long after we got a community letter with a warning that these guys will price a job.. do the job.. then hike the price sky high!... If you dont pay then they wreck the drive and threaten to get their boys on to you. Anyway.. I look out the window this morning and there is a huge pile of old broken up tarmac piled in the street... cars are finding it hard to pass and there are 3 diddy coys making a complete hash of the neighbours driveway. I am just bettin the the wife of the fella over the road said yes to them... tsk tsk I have been sat here watching em whilst working and I am really starting to feel sorry for the neighbours So.. the point of this thread is.. tell the missus that if anyone asks to do the drive.. say NO!!
