  1. hmm i uploaded a pic fine... no problems. where are you submitting to.. which section?
  2. the gold members system is the gold members database. this is your actuall registration that we use to send your packs the forum in gold does not use the system... every account on gold was added by myself to save you time.. however i am struggling to find the time to readd 500 memembers back into the gold forums... so you may need to add yourself to the forums. the pop up box checks your password from a seperate file which was intact.. again this has nothing to do with the gold forums. all members need to do is log in with the pop up box... then check to see if you are on the members list... members 1 to 180 would be ok... the remaining members need to register with the forum... back to normal then.
  3. anyone can upload pics.. its not restricted in anyway i recommdened trying another time loz.. perhaps your browser needs restarting and trying again also perhaps the image is not set to RGB and is in Index or CYMK mode... its possible. question is can you see the image with your browser? f not then that might be your problem.

  5. i have been flooded with emails about this.. i need the samaratins!
  6. no mate... you do not have to go through the subscription process. If you have a log in for the gold section (or you can see the gold forums) then your account is ok. The subscription side is ok.. kjust the gold forum has lost usernames.. but this just neds you to register on those boards. Gold membership is intact. :)
  7. to get into gold uses a different password file to the forums the forums are what went down.
  8. gold memberships have not changed as the passwords weere not stored in a database. However, the forums inside gold were knocked. All you need to do is re-register inside gold. the password box that pops up remains the same thank goodness.
  9. makes me wanna buy a Hilux now!!! I can carry my mates in the back with machine guns!
  10. Calnedar comp does not use MySQL database.. it was MySQL then went down yesterday
  11. well it seems that nearly everythhing is back.. but out of date. There were afew reasons why the database was not backed up to date... one of them was being unable to download the database in a GZ file.. kept hanging... i did this a few days ago.. nothing. However I wished i had tried backing up the rest. it was a big accident.. big lessons have been learnt!... i have been here 14 hours solid repairing sites and sobbing in between. anyway.. power to the people! :winky:
  12. i was lost in code and data... imagine a childrens ball pond that was me.. swimming in it.. now again i came across brown slimey objects!
  13. the gold forums would be registered by myself.. this means i registered the account for you in gold.. all you need to do is sign up whithin gold. subscription are fine.. with a bit of time I shall have the DB all back in place as I kept this in different formats in case it got lost
  14. just to let everyone know that it is safe to post... no more losses will happen
  15. LOL that actually made me smile mate! nice one! hehe
  16. well.. the calendar system is still active! the worst thing is that the gold forums might be way out of sync i hate computers also ... the knowledgebase no lobger exsists... back to the beginning again send me a box of kleenex to wipe the tears
  17. worst nightmare ever mate imagine months of work down the pan! whoever has that voodoo doll please give me a break
  18. Due to some terrible news that a back up went up the wall and the backups were deleted Luckily I had a back up from September on my PC and i manage to restore us until Spetember the 14th I understand this will cause stress to some members but I can assure you this is totally out of my hands. Hopefully we can restore thingsback to normal. Once again i send my apologies.
  19. I think the rules need to be looked at When we say it has to have lexusownersclub.com somewhere in it we did not mean a photoshop version of it... a physical sign! Also photoshopping is not allowed apart from number plates. We can block these out for you anyway.
  20. please ensure that the originals are available in full resolution.. web resolutions are no good for printing if you have full version then please keep this safe.

    Insurance

it depends on the company.. i havebeen with companies that say imports make no difference as long as it has an immobiliser

    Insurance

becasue its an import doesnt really mean its gonna be more expensive.. my last car (a rare import) was only £400 the soarer cost me about 680 but heck.. was a step from the last car... certainly worth the extra!!!!!
  23. This is a small clip from 2 hours of Japanese technical video that shows an Active UZZ32 Soarer being lovingly bulit in a clean room by highly trained Japanese technicians with white gloves. The video then moves on to the test ground to show how excellent the TT and regular V8 model is for handling and top speed. When veiwing this you will see the handling difference with the Active suspension and normal coil suspension... you will note the the car with the active suspension is not even leaning... seems as if he is driving the car at leasure.. whilst the TT is trying to maintain control! click here to watch video - 3meg Actives are rare... if you see one in your travels then buy it... ultimate handling abilities that other cars will find very hard to compete. click here to see a v8 fast launch!
  24. no different to an MR2 back end.. dont forget the pendulam theory with a mid engined car the problem is the amount of power to the wheels. Myself i would not care if i had a v8 or a TT V8 would sound awesome with a straight through exhaust! But traction control is available on some models.. you can tell this by a switch under your left knee.. left of the steering wheel... if there is a blank plate then it does not have TRAC
