on top of the strunt mounds see if it has any writing on them. TEMS has adjustable shocks.. works kind similar to air but not as good... allows you to adjust the softness of the shocks to rock hard however.. i dont think you would have air on the back and tems on the front.. its either air or tems all round.

I do remember reading up on this that they have active steering... but the suspension would be coiless if it was active. Active system uses hydraulic rams rather than air The japs were the first to make active suspension.. they sold about 1000 active soarers at a loss.. thats why they did not continue

you wont have Active suspension.. only 'Active' soarers came with them However, TEMS also stiffens when you apply the brakes or hit a corner hard or you can set them for track days so the suspension and steering is firm. The power mode would work the same for TEMS too by stiffining the suspension.. i had the same on my windom just the air suspension gives a better ride quality. I do not doubt you on the air suspension.. I know very little about the Aristo... they have absolutely everything. Very nice piece of kit!

if it looks lower in the mornings then you have a leak in the air suspension system I am though quite suprised to hear you have an air system in your aristo... never knew these came with air suspension

The suspension will stiffen with Tems (Toyota Electronic Modulated Suspension) as well. does the car lean or look lower in the morning?

scrappy did not have one.. however.. i was lucky enough to buy a brand new solenoid on its own.. very suprised considering most dealers want you to buy the engine with the starter still cost £50! went to the scrap yard and they had a T reg IS200 with frontal damage for £4k rest of the car was intact from what i could see. some of the motors they were flogging really made me wish i was good with car bodyworks! prices wee incredible

Sad to see you go andrew!... shame your GS was a bit of a dog and good job they took the car back mate. It is not common for Lexus to have many faults... just a shame yours did. Good luck with the new motor mate and remember to pop back anytime for a quick chat! :)

this is permanent stuff steve... not tyre foam if you spot a puncture. it was offered to me when i took the car to the valeters... I said no due to not knowing much about this product
