  1. colin is correct beauty is that i do hardly any miles so the depreciation from now on will be gracefull whilst all the other lower mile cars catch up. could not help it and had to take a leisurely drive through some country lanes tonight....
  2. looks exactly like that one jock! i cant wait to get out there polishing! hey pete.. cant wait for those dusty rain storms in the summer when one shower leaves your car like its been in a dust storm!
  3. dave.. i need a ride in something slower so this one feels faster... hehe its hard to not have the power anymore but i can tell you that the fuel consumption is much better.. very noticible!
  4. I collected the car at 1pm near Bracknall The history of the car is at Guildford which i am hoping to view when i pay them a visit. just a shame the laquer is patchy otherwise it would be prestine and an absolutely perfect motor from what i can see...
  5. i came out of a quick motor into something a bit more refined.. quite suprising how quiet the car is on the road with the slimmish profile tyres
  6. no mods on this car... well.. tints maybe needed Some interior mods i would like to do
  7. good tips there mate!... will check there regularly only thing they dont have on the uk model is electric folding mirrors
  8. hi Stevie.. got the change for the you know what :shutit: cheers whitebeam :winky: apart from the dash display i love the motor... i hate the controls on the dash.. too cheap but heck.. i can put up with that as I have benefitted in many ways! cat wait for the weather to get warmer so i can put some magic touch on it and get it clean throughout and get the leather conditioned I am thinking of having the leather dyed black along with the carpets!
  9. Yep.. picked her up today... what a fine motor... not a squeak or rattle from her... very tight mechanically. only the creaking of leather round hard turns. drives very smoothly.. can hardly hear the engine sometimes. The engine is very quiet too!!! All the electronics are faultless in fact all i can say is I cannot find anything wrong at all with this motor mechanically! The wheels just need repolishing and a good wax this car is amazing!!! One tiny thing which could be something small but i get a small vibration from the wheels at 70+ ... may just be the balancing needed... anyone have this problem? I do fear buckled alloy.. but if this is the case then I can fit the spare alloy from the boot.. which funnily enough is immaculate. Pics to follow
  10. i would be interested in those 10" rears.. but how much will the tyres be?
  11. when i had her polished i nearly thought twice.. damn she looked fine! she looked so fine that when i was in the petrol station filling up some guys walks towards his car staring at the soarer... he walked into his own car and fell over.. plonker.. but good bloke for his admiration of such a fine motor. I was worried this morning that if that pug had hit me the whole deal would have been off and I would have written the car off. i drove 60 most of the way.. it was really bad. anyway.. all done now
  12. the soarer was so dirty we could not see out of the windows.. i could not get it washed .. poor guy had to view it looking like it had faught in afganistan! I will miss that car!.. lets home the GS can seduce me somehow
  13. Was that you who lost control of their Black IS in the slushy roads on the A1 this morning? If so bad luck fella.. good job that grassy bank was there. 10 mins before I had a pug 205 get totaedl in front whilst trying to overtake... silly girl overtook on the slushy fast lane Took me 10 hours to get to Newcastle with the slushy roads, icicles on the windscreen wipers... jets freezing what a nightmare of a day... 700 miles and been up more than 36 hours. Pooped! Caught the train home!
  14. nice one colin.. thats bookmarked for sure! have you seen this similar program but has all the flights on it.. you can see planes move across the country
  15. it never settled colin... the heat from the sun made sure of that it has now stopped.
  16. Ok fellas.. need a big favour I am travelling to Newcastle from Bournemouth this evening.. I have a tasty 380 mile trip. Big worry is I am concerned about the snow anyone live near newcastle could give me a local weather report please? bbc weather is pants I am worried as it is snowing here in Bournemouth
  17. anyone here up my backside on the motoway yesterday in an IS200? perhaps recognised me?... did you see how fast i pulled away!... good eh? As the road were really gritty i presumed you ate my dust
  18. nankangs nearly killed my motor... they are no good in the weat at all and often I ended up fishtailing the car. I bought hankook Sports which are a middle of the road tyre and the backend is now better guys in the tyre place used to laugh at the nankang tyres
  19. not sure colin.. but i doubt if it matters if they are painted to look similar the laquer is knackered... but i am sure the specialist will soon get it looking nice again
  20. i wished i had that today when i was in london.. would have saved many hours of stress! and all for nothing!
