look after those sport wheels... the laquer has gone on mine and corrosion set in to the alloy... the polished front are knackered... so I have to have them painted instead now... decided a shadow chrome paint.. which is a dark silver... much better than normal silver on a black car. Quote was £80 per wheel... I shall be looking elsewhere though

hmm.. well the front wheel was changed for MOT as the dealer had a bald tyres and the spare was brand new tyre... I take it the sport comes with 5 alloys? I will take it to a really good place alled Protyre down here.. very advanced equipment to the cacky tyre places i have been too!...

add a note that even if you got a new engine and had it fitted at a 3rd part garage you would still not have lost out. mine has 90 odd K.. same age and looks the same... drive it and if the car has no knocks, squeaks (apart from leather) then the rest of the car is fine. then concentrate on the engine.. get a AA report for sure

I spotted this car on ebay and looks exactly like mine... the price is right... not sure on the mileage though... but if you got the car for 3800 its still a good deal as these are 8k book price with 60-70k on them.

get a Dension unit.. it has a satelite unit that sits on velcro on the dash whilst the hardrive sits in the boot.... buy an 80 gig system too as those long trips will give you a massive jukebox of MP3's

bigger the photo the more chance it as getting in the calendar... anything 2000 wide or more is better... 3000 would be superb.

old motor was exported the Sweden... Point of delivery was Newcastle new car was 90 miles away and the car that took me to my new motor was the my first lex.. older members would recognise it.

i looked around at LS400's... but the prices i was getting them at they all turned out to be a bit ruff... I would love to own a mark III... the GS was a second option.. but I am more happy with this then i thought i was going to be.

i did 130 miles on £15 worth of optimax 3/4 was traveling at highish speeds on motorway and the rest around town my soarer would do 180 miles and cost £30 on all motorway driving!!! Turbos are juicy! so... i think i could do 160 miles for £15 on 60 mph motorway driving?? Anyone think so? What are all you other GS owners getting?
