ok Here is the deal
I have been approached by Men & Motors who are doing a series on various cars ect.
They are looking to film a Lexus On the Friday 26th at Donnington which is in in studio set up. Then on the 29th they need the same Lexus to drive round Bruntingthorpe Track ( not racing but if you would like to power the car around the track then thats up to you.. you are let loose)
All travelling expensis are paid for and refreshments shall be supplied.
Now... The reason they ask for a LS400 is because the car will be up alongside a 93 Jag XJ12.
They are not looking for performance levels but more on the luxury levels and why you enjoy owning a luxury motor.
You will be required for approx 3 to 4 hours on the 26th
The track is a couple of hours and can be the 29th or the 30th.
Your LS must not be any older than a 95.. but pref a 93 model.. year either way
Your car really needs to be in good nick...
If you would like to get your motor onto TV then please PM me.
i had a bloke in a Siera 4x4 pull up next to me yesterday in the car park.. wound hs window down looking at the car and looked at me and revved his engine... what a pillock... he thought it would be smart to pull away fast and stalled. He saw me grin.. hope that teaches him.
Sorry to hear about your loss Daz... guess overtime at work this week then?
thats that site thats in a different language
I havent got the Pimpus Language pack on my browser
Will have to make sure we get some pics of him! :winky:
thats something that i have noticed with the GS
With the soarer it was very good to make sure you did not leave the lights on.. open the door and it would beep... take the keys out with the lights on and the lights turned themselves off as soon as you opened the door... no way you could accidently leave the lights on.
Now the GS does not have this feature. So i kept leaving lights on
Same with leaving the car in D when parking and removing the key... never known an auto to let me do this apart from the GS
Also I noticed that i do not have to have my foot on the brake to change transmission from a stationary position.... P to D
It misses loads of bits i have seen on imports.
Not dissing so dont flame me... bloody fine motor indeed! But people bitch on about imports when these have all the little extras... its only when you jump in a uk spec you notice the difference.
I also miss my auto locking doors... will have to be carefull when hand signalling next time :D
Take a look at Windows RG.. the new edition
http://www.deanliou.com/WinRG/
cant stop giggling.. click all the icons too
man.. when this came out i placed it on my secretaries computer and told her that I had updated her windows... i sniggered in the other room whilst she was swearing at it
really need a XP version really.
doesnt that stop the water from entering the car when you wind down the window?
also check the mirrors for wind noise... thats usually the problem.. mirrors are pants
well i always look a pratt stood by the door pressing the button loads of time.
I want to walk away and press the button.. not look like i am trying to change channel on the TV!
Keith
In my last car i changed the ICE setup throughout by saving every week due to giving up smoking I saved the money i would usually spend on woodbines
After 12 months I had enough money for a complete overhaul
rewire whole car
Complete Speaker replacement with MB Quart
Kenwood 12" sub in the back
5 Channel Alpine Amp (nice peice of kit)
Alpine Head Unit
The sound was soo awesome... not the loudest as i went for quality over loudness
But it really was the business... but I put it down the the quality of speakers!!!
Oh.. that reminds me.. what size are the speakers in the GS 1?
will look even better once i get these wheels refurbed.. really lets it down
having Silver Shield Applied next week which is a teflon... I will not need to wax for 12 months and water will bead just like rain x
