  1. i think you need to attatch relays due to the stop light failure warning lights. Also some cars have wireless rear lights.. but i think your ok with the IS200
  2. hey no worries mate.. your welcome to post this stuff anytime.. no one was having a go mate we are all just as angry as you mate over these petrol costs.
  3. look in the yellow pages for Chips Away mobile service too
  4. what about it blowing on the intercooler?
  5. hey.. i cant help it.. i am just festively plump
  6. fell apart.. needs a leader assigned to keep the momentum going
  7. you bugger you.. hardest part is holding it in on a date...
  8. nothing a hammer and chisel wont fix I must buy a 5th aftermarket wheel as i still have an original in the boot.... useless if i cannot fit it
  9. 4 star brace.. dont have one of those mate my tool kit is unused.. looks prestine
  10. yes must agree there tony.. my windom had double the space and ski hatch but i guess having a full size spare instead of a retarded one is better.. but then again I would prefer a space saver.
  11. you mate must have alot of money :P
  12. i agree with the series 1 dash.. its fugly.. only thing that put me off.. series 2 dash is much better but the rest of the car is ace.. I had more comments today... every day I get comments on my motor.. especially when polished. cream leather on the doors is nice... the dark brown is not that bad... just the dash display i dislike. But easily get used to it and when i get into any other car mine always looks better
  13. seen this floating around for years... it wont work the only thing would be for everyone to STOP driving for 1 month! remember.. the less fuel is produced, refined and barrelled the more expensive it becomes. The only way it will become cheaper is if more people buy it
  14. i could always show you my gut by taking my shirt off :yack:
  15. good point on the leather color.. the grey put me off a silver one i was looking at. yesterday i spotted a couple walking past the car the the bloke said to his wife.. "oh thats one of those posh motors" She had obviosuly asked what the hell it was. Shame about the driver
  16. well... I would imagine its because Lexus are not old enough to make older model type manuals... Until lexus have 20 years under there belts we won't see a manual on the book shelves In theory your supposed to go to a Lexus techinician for any work need doing Also forget the ones you see on ebay.. I have bought these and are crap and are for the US market
  17. humph.. i am heading to my forties fast.. dont wish your life away stu!
  18. my log book has sport written on it too one snag.. be carefull you do not ground the car.. these are pretty low and only a few days ago i bottomed the car out in a car park on very uneven ground. most garages moan how low these are as sometimes they cannot get the jack underneath! Also make sure you buy a new wheel brace as the standard one does not fit the TTE wheels.. its really daft! mine is rock solid!
  19. Also Stu We have mail order parts service which is set up by a dealer... 15% disount on most parts and free delivery on most items too... probably the best discount section for Lexus in the world mate!
  20. ok.. time for me to answer the question You should go back to cantebury and tell them to contact Scott Brownlee as I had a meeting a few weeks ago with Scott.. or any management level with Lexus as they all know who we are. We are Lexus recognised... they are simply backing out of the discount or basically saying that Lexus have not endorsed us. Lexus Cantebury are not as popular here and not been much demand. Where as other dealerships could easily lose a customer to the next dealership who is offering the discount scheme to us.
  21. Black is certainly an eye catcher... I must admit i like silver too... and I was deciding myself which to go for.. but I am now actually happy with black... I get more looks and good comments then I did with my silver soarer Take a look at mine with aftermarket wheels http://www.lexusownersclub.com/gallery/album02/IMG_0951 When test driving make sure you give the car a run on the dual carriageway.. if you have any vibrations then it could be a buckled wheel problem... thats why i have aftermarket wheels now
  22. typical.. a meet in Bournemouth and I will be out of Bournemouth and half way up the blimmin country
  23. looking forward to this myself now more are coming! I was thinking.. who knows the donnington area?
