    Finding A V8

There is a black one in Bournemouth i keep seeing.. not sure if it is a V8 though.. I will check
  5. series 1 and 2 of the soarer were in the 80's
  6. Italian job I should have had NOS installed and shot him up the backside as he tried to undertake...
  7. the only handing probs were the TT's with no TC.. too much power on the small wheels I used to go out in the country about 1 am and have some fun... really good fun too. But its very easy to snake up the road and lose the car.. so alot of respect (especially in the rain) needs to be given or you lose your car or your life.

    V8 Vs Tt

My TT was about 20-22 mpg around town or fast motorway driving with the turbos spooling. TT is quicker from standing than the V8 but the v8 catches up I was lucky to have a TT manual geabox which was very quick.. lots of fun.. but expensive. insurance for 32 year old with full no claims was £750 fully comp. The car was pretty juicy.. more than my GS. The V8 is even more juicy. But these cars are alot of fun.. handle really well... worth spending the extra bucks if you like the power.
  10. if I had the 4k then i would.. but i would rather put that into next years speed boat!! :P :P I want a fast boat instead now I have a tow bar! Overtime here we come!
  11. Did you know that the ES was the first Lexus to be released in the US? Know as the ES250 It was realeased in the late 80's and I spotted the first series here in Bournemouth too.. nice!
  12. Always thought it was Grand Sedan/Saloon
  13. squeaky leather drives me nuts colin! Perhaps thats why the ES was much quieter than the GS? Also rmemeber the v6 engine was smoother too
  14. cheers fellas! I remember when Brute was 33... nice guy but havent seen him around in ages
  15. but a 1960's mini though... it was a classic at the hands of an a**hole He even made it worse and undertook me
  16. cheers!.. clears that one up.. never heard of it!
  17. I wonder if it is the same company that owns castle wheels... they have a place in southampton and I recognise the name I to had spiggot problems and bathwick tyres using made up spiggots! If they did the damage then they should repair!
  18. Could someone explain what "Chenille" means please?? Apparently direct line have it as an option when getting quotes
  19. i get bored very quickly and by the time it sold the car I really wanted had gone. So after searching the country I found the car I have now which is faultless... but the soarer ruined me.. those turbos made me a ruined man.. An N/A car just is never the same. damn mini... looked liked Roger Daltry driving too.. thats what made me even worse.. always thought Tommy was deaf, dumb & blind
  20. I could not believe my eyes this evening an old 1960's Mini cooper which was in very good nick whipped my backside tonight.. absolute gobsmacked. This Mini powered off past me so quickly it was incredibible until his top end was pants and I had the last say I never thought the Cooper was that quick. Times like this I wish i had my soarer still Anyone wanna buy a GS300 Sport?
  21. well the jap version had Air Purifier, elec mirrors, heated mirrors, adjustable TEMS suspension, Sat Nav (newer models) etc etc... the GS is basic compared to jap imports. Now the US model had as many goodies as the GS But the ride is much more superior than mine .. although mines a sport. The IS however was so much better handling... was quite good fun.
  22. availability is now closed site address will be placed up here soon
  23. cheers cmon the rest of you.. we will hound you until you pay what you pledged :D
