Will go to CAb on monday I have seeked some advice from a lawyer but it was quick advice as it was a freebie. True about the 6 years.. Lawyer asked me to get them to send a statement to me. reckons they are trying it on too.

I guess it is not illegal to request money like this though?? or is it?

I started thinking If this was the case that means any company could come after me claiming i owe money. Surely a copy of the signed agreement would be needed?

The number was on the letter.. although the phone number is in a different colour ink. But this may be done on purpose for different departments. They did state where the so called debt was from and the account number of the debt. I got in store credit one xmas and I know i paid them. But the receipts i do have do not prove it was paying that actual loan.. So that is no solid proof. She went on and said "did you not save the receipts"... I said "do you keep your receipts for 8 years?" If the CAB turns round to me and tell me that I dont have no leg to stand on then those idiots will get £1 a month standing order. Let them struggle for their money.. but i tell you there is no way I am paying anything until the last moment.. thats just admitting the debt 8 years I find very hard to remember anything apart from really weird times with women and booze! :winky: Thanks to everyone for your help.

I have a reply from them.. it says Ok so I called them and told them I have just received my Experian report and she "and??" I said well it show I owe you nothing She said "So you think that because the debt is not on the experian report that you no longer owe us the money?" I said "yeah" She said "No.. you have to proof proof of payments by receipt" I went balistic... I had a full blown argument and she was all cool and sarcastic. Told her that she wont stand a chance in court and I wont be paying it She said "you have 7 days or we will take you to court" I cooly said "whatever" But I am now worried.. I cannot afford a CCJ ... will cripple me if i do Is she calling my bluff or what?? Help I despratly need firm info

wireless is great.. GF boots up her laptop and is instantly connected to the net through my Linksys Wireless-G Gateway... Has a mini webserver built in. So that serves the net on the wireless. My mate lets his neighbours use his net connection from across the street and shares the difference in costs!

not using CGI scripts nor will it stop members linking their own image as long as the images are used from this club. Our bandwidth is not free or do we let people use our bandwidth willy nilly. We simply add a rule to the .htaccess files and list the sites that are allowed to hotlink.. such as goldmembers and our other websites within the network. However, it also depends if we decide to watermark all images on our server.. thus free advertising for the club.

you might have a few problems trying to find a new wheel.. these are no longer available... I have seen a few in my time...

same on my GS the alarm is made by Scorpion (the company not the member :P ) they are not longer around so you either have to make do or have a aftermarket alarm fitted Mine doesnt work all the time... 80% of the time it will work first time.. but other times i have to try 3 or 4 times.

I agree.. kits are fantastic.. shine on mine lasted many months
