Hi Hmm sounds like something rubbing together if it is louder when cold. What the dealer normally does is pack the joints with a material. Are you able to get someone to drive the car over rough ground and you locate it by ear, then press the parts of the dash to see if you can locate it? The IS250 used to be plagued with rattles and squeaks -
are the flaps the cabin pressure release flaps.. or am I thinking of something else?

Hi Mate Dealers are restricted on the information they can give due to Data protection. I have asked if they would not give me info in detail and they refused, but asking them if it has been reglarly serviced and has it had any major work done, they can give you a yes or no answer. A tip for you is you can log in tot he vosa website and check all the past MOT's. Look on the back of your MOT cert for details. You'll see all the reports -
at that price i would not be that bothered by the service history too much. peace of mind with the cambelt change though
