those springs for the boot catch are annoying and break easily.. i got mine replaced after a rear shunt... but you will need to go to the dealer to get one of those. -

I am not sure you can properly fix it to the centre seat. New born seats are usually the other backward facing for the first so many months. It just did not work out so I placed it on the rear passenger side Just go for a decent seat that will last years.. britax have a very good selection -

hi mate I had a 220d with a young child and never had any problems. My small gripe would be the back seat is set back slightly so I had to lean in more to buckle her in... but thats it really. The boot quite a good size, never had issues with pushchairs. Betst go for a test drive and try and add the pushchair in and see how it fits

The 60mph at 43 MPG sounds normal. I used to get 44MPG cruising at 70.... that was always normal.
