Ahhh that's what the expression on her face was at JAE. Yak.. no Mayo!

We have adopted her as the club babe!:lol:

  2. The club is just under 1 year old.. we already made a huge impact at the JAE show. You wont really see Lexus at shows becasue we are the only official club in the UK and Europe.

Were getting there.. but we would only attend Japs and JAE and our own organised meets.

our next meet is at the end of this month.. contact me if you need any info.

As for the windom... Best ship it over and try changing the alternator and see if that fixes the problem... nothing is un-curable.. just needs replacing

  3. This is easy... easy to install too

The air hose you can order from your dealer and should be less than $100.... maybe even less than $50

Youn can even install this yourself.... just be prepared to give the old one a good tug out.

The engine mount is at the top (see pic below) This is simply undo two bolts and replcace new mount. Mount costs is about $70 or less

  4. I hate FWD cars.... I had a split in my CV boot and the CV joint got dry... when i had a new boot out on and packed with grease the joint become unseized and now is loose and makes a knocking noise.

I doubt if Toyota will sell just an Outer CV joint like a normal company so I will have to buy the whole driveshaft i expect.

Toyota love your cars but not your parts service! get a grip!

another £200+ plus labour job.... grrrr

  5. i experience the same problem... until my mechanic said the car sounds normal and everytime i think of it the worse it gets

I give mine a oil change every 3 months and the oil always is always golden

the ticking noise will be the injectors.. so thats normal

car will sound rough when cold as he oil needs to thin up so it can protect all of the bare metal... when the oil is cold it is thicker, thus starving the engine for a minute or two while everything warms up.
