Sorry to be so morbid but have actually had to use adrian Flux Properly? IE Claims The only reason i ask is that i'm waiting on a quote back and if they come in cheaper then great but iv'e never heard of the company before LOC so just a bit worried about aftersales,claims,customer service etc Thanks for you time

I been driving for 2 & Half no claims but one conviction cost me £950 which is not bad in comaprrioson if you go gold there are discounts offered for the LOC to get a further 15% off insurance with adrian flux im waiting on a quote back from them so ill let you know G

I would go for the Sport this comes with Tinted windows and spoiler as standard Not sure there is a lot else between the Sport & SE anyway sport would suit your aero kit better as for how much it will cost you should check auto trader (be Carfull I spent £300 on HPI checks b4 i found one that wasn't a write off or still under finance in that sense you might be better off with main dealer) I thought lexus stopped the IS200 in 2003? I also have a 99 IS and reading other topics you should be able to access the tank from the back seats although i've never tried it myself I currenltey have a problem that the fuel gage is stuck on half probably the floater/sensor in the fuel tank has gone so if you find out how to drop the tank let me know Good Luck & Welcome to LOC

Jamboo did I read that right your thinking of changing to a 3 series? personally I know of 2 other drivers 1 of wich had an altezza and the other a citreon xsara coupe who both thought they were getting an upgrade when buying a 3 series And after a few months both were dissapointed especially the altezza driver he can't wait to finish paying the BM and go back to Lexus Just my thoughts mate too many bm's on the road i know when i'm driving my IS at least it's a bit more unique and even 7 years old it still gets the looks G -

Sorry thought the idea of the LOC was to offer support,advise & Info to each other PIP I think 99% of the LOC would disagree with your comments mate everyone Is intitled to make their own choices

Hi, I've noticed the petrol gauge on my IS200 seems to be stuck on half has anyone else had this problem and is it easy and cheap to fix, Its not the neddle itself as that comes up/down on engine start up as normal possibley the floater in the petrol tank itself? As much as I like to believe I have a permanent half tank of petrol guess I better get it fixed Cheers Guys

As well as the cam belt check the auxillary belts too if you do need to change them do it at the same time as there should be no extra labour cost involved Enjoy

Thanks for the info guys when I spoke to my insurance company they just simply wont isure me to have tinted windows not even at extra cost i've searched everywere for other insurance but mine really is the cheapest around by about £500 quid, oh well stuck with it for only 1 year to go then i break the 25 barrier and can mod all i like Cheers

After seing a few IS200 with the slightly blacked out rear windows (I think this is standard on the newer models? I'm thinking yeah would look good on mine the courtous side of me says better check with my insurance company and guess what they won't allow me because im under 25 and any mods make my insurance void allthough if it was standard lexus tinted windows it would be ok Know it's risky but if i had it done would they really know it wasnt standard? Maybe a lexus dealer would do this? that keeps it standard surely Cheers Guys

Morning guys ive just had the can belt changed on the IS200 and I thought I may as well have the drive belts done at the same time ive had the car back for two days now and I have to say it seems so much smoother and easier to drive than b4 Surely cam and drive belts have know bearing on the car's ride and handling am I going mad or what? The misses just thinks im being paranoid???????????? (She Don't Drive Though) Any advise am I wrong or what? Cheers

Hi all, Sorry if this sounds stupid but has anyone noticed a real diiference between unleaded and premium fuels they claim to add an extra fourty miles to a tank can anyone confirm this or is it just another false economy trick? it also claims to improve performance and on my 7yr old IS200 I have to wonder if this relative either Boring subject I know but hey need to know Cheers

I have a 99 IS200 SE someone said this model might have brake pad ware indicators in the dash i cant find anything in the book to state that my perticuler model has it Anyone Know? Thanks

I'd love to delay the cam belt change but i've only had the car 3 weeks and the cam belt is 1 year over its limit although she has only done 68500miles which should be ok but i just dont want to take the risk ill phone my lexus tomorrow and see what they come up with discount wise Thanks

I joined up last night and they told me my pack wont come through for up to 3 weeks i've got my cam belt change this week hopefully they can look up my details? do you think they would accept my say so without a card yet?
