  9. That looks really nasty mate, really brings it home when you see pic's like that I actually booked an appointment with Tony @ WIM a couple of days ago to have the geometry checked over as i'm also experiancing abnormal ware on the rear tyres. Must of been a scary moment at the end of the day the car has always done its job if you walk away without any majors I really think you would struggle to prove your case in court. Happy Lexus Hunting (go to a main dealer next time)
  10. To all you petrol heads out there that watch those petrol prices and swap from one garage to another depending on which one has come down buy a penny or 2 I came accross a website last night that checks for the cheapest petrol in your area just register your details and get 20 free searches Petrolprices.com It updates there system nearly every day and you can save a small fortune in the long run. Have a good weeken All
  11. I'm really glad someone brought this up i got a Green IS200 every second or third day I go through the same old procedure go to the hand car wash give it a clean bring her home again dry off (Water Marks) with fluffy glove get the T Cust out & spend 3 hours waxing and polishing go to bed a happy man, get up ready for work go to open the car door and BANG every bit of dust and dirt from 5 miles around has found its way onto the paint work I think it might just be the colour makes it look worse i had a metalic blue punto b4 this and that was frustratingly clean all the time. I Just give up, time for a re-spray me thinks any suggestions? G
  12. All I can say is that it may be a bit more expensive but if you buy from john lewis most electricals come with 5 years warrenty as standard so from that point of view your covered if it were to ever break down i know theese new plasma's can be expensive Happy HUnting G

Figo, Shame I seen Lexus key on ebay couple of weeks ago for just a few quid I just had a quick browse and it's gone mate, when you do get a key contact me or just look through the topics you don't need to take the key to a dealer you can program the key yourself it's just a couple of quick procedures lexus will charge £45 plus vat to program keys frustrating when it's something you can do yourself, I just had a service at private garage £110 Hope this helps G
  19. Just out of Curiosity who's got the current highest Mileage out there? All Models Never heard of anything past 207000 Ta
  20. I bought My IS200 2 months ago and on inspection the rear tyres were completley worn on inside. I made dealer replace them and put it down to maybe a boy racer before me ill have to keep an eye on this one I could be making a visit to tony @ WIM Thanks for bringing this one up Cookee Any LOC discounts @ WIM?
  21. I'm Currentley running on Michelin's (sports somethin or other) any better suggestiones to reduce road noise will be greatley received I just feel that the roar of the engine could be a little clearer/Louder WOW FACTOR (without engine mods) Low speeds are fine it just seems to be mortorways that causes me probs
  22. Thanks Boydie That's good news i haven't heard back from them yet but thanx for info Unfortunately YES! I have been invoved in a FAULT and NON-FAULT accident and they were fantastic! I have been with them (and constantly renewing with them) for over 5 years I originally went with them as they seemed aimed at "Boy Racers" and when I was younger and had a Rover Coupe I got a quote and signed up Since growing up (not necessarily maturing) I have always found their quotes and service excellent They are essentially a broker I think - your actual insurance is likely to be with a more well known company (mine is currently with Royal Sun Alliance) I have also been promised a further 10% discount for being a LOC Gold Member when I get around to doing it ;-) I really can't fault them and if anything their service has improved (I actually received a very interesting motoring magazine free of charge last week) ALSO - I did not have to pay any extra when I got my 3 points for speeding I phoned them to notify them and I was expecting to pay an extra premium but didn't have to pay a penny - my renewal also went down so I didn't get stung there either (PHEW!) ADRIAN FLUX definitely gets my recommendation
