Exactly what it says on the tin when I do left turns at low speed I can hear what sounds like a flapping type noise as if something was stuck to the wheel (front Drivers Side) but there its been up on the jack and nothing to indicate what the problem is I thought it may be the dirt/dust guards touching but they all seem to be tightly in place and without hanging half my body out the window I can't tell the problem. Any suggestions welcome

No conections or cables just the amp on its own its from a 99SE IS200 if anyone has any use for this let me know ive just had a new stereo fitted after the dredded err3 message and the amp had to be bypassed so they fitters disconected it and gave it back Gordon

Thanks for the input guys just wanted to make sure this will fit OK I really don't have the knoledge of fitting stereo's with or without the added amps in glove box and for the sake of £30 and peace of mind ill just get the sparky to fit it but thanks for the advise anyhow Sorry but as your model is an SE it won't be straight forward because the sport & SE have a seperate amplifier behind the glove box..... ;) Do a search on the forum for replacing headunit.... being covered loads of times good luck

If you want the same car with more power, wouldn't bother modifying, just get an IS300...... :winky: Just been looking at the IS300 on lexus website and the 0-60 is only about 1 second quicker and top speed 9mph faster than the 200 I was expecting a bit better than that but me thinks just 1second more would have been enough to beat that rover 620

Sitting at traffic lights this morning dual carrige way and after traffic lights road merges to single lane side by side with the rover 620 i thinks ill just nip in front of him and be off. But the BxxxxxxxD wanted to race so I stuck pedal to the metal was just about to over take and sXXt I redlined it just b4 I could select 2nd and saftey cut in gobsmacked he beat me I know the rover is 2.00ltr aswell but hey I thought my lex would be way quicker than that rust bucket + more toys & BHP Anyway I should say this is definatley not my normal driving style but i'm afraid to say I let the side down sorry team Time to upgrade to the IS250 me thinks

My alarm does not work when I put my arms through the window ive tried it with pressing the key fob once and twice(1flash 5flash) and in each case it won't work. Although if I lock the car with key fob and try to open the door with the key the alarm goes off? In the passenger footwell there is the siren unit for the alarm sounder and just beside the front interior light is another sensor that is velcro'd to the interior roof lining do you have this on any of your Models? Is this standard manufacturers equipment or is this an aftermarket alarm 99 model eeeeemmmm whats wrong??????

Exhaust is fine or so they tell me all brakes bushes and suspension & anti roll bars checked even the heat shield is fine really at a loss with this one car is standard no mods at all

{but TBH it shouldnt be too difficult to find the source of the noise} eemmm that's what I thought (10min job) but hey looks like next step is trip to Lexus Service center

I recently posted about a clunky noise coming from the offside rear booked into my local service center (Non Lexus) they thought it may be anti roll bar linkages loose? they sent me of in a corsa for the day & when I went in to collect and asked the what the problem was "THEY SIMPLY DON'T KNOW" they acknowledge and appreciate the noises are noticible everytime i go over a pothole or bump but they just simply can't find what the problem is. Their advise was to visit a lexus center but before I do does anyone have any ideas as to the noise they have checked Wheel Bearings Suspension Exhaust Shield anti roll bar Links exhaust grips wishbones They simply can't find what's wrong although they have assured me that everything is as it should be (erhh no) and at least I have peace of mind that everything is safe and in working order (again erhh No) Even though everything may be safe and in working order I want to get this fixed I don't like nigley problems I appreciate its hard to describe the clunky noises online but its on the offside rear like metal banging off of something else and kinda rattles a bit but if they cant find anything visually then what the hell could it be
