  1. Phew, that's a relief .... I've blagged a tent this time so need expert erection advice It looks quite 'traditional' and seems to have instructions... so i'm guessing any decent boy scout or girl guide should be able to manage Chris will be relieved to hear we're FAR away from the dirt track this year :winky: I'm still bringing a bucket though... Just in case.. Oh sod it, i'll chuck a hose in too
  2. Pimms?? Who said Pimms??? Forgotten?? Hmmm... Dya drink Pimms from a bottle or are you bringing some jugs Ahem Incidentally, i've collected 4 'slabs' of softies - 7up, DrPep,Orange, PMax Probly aquire beers too and maybe some alcopop... For the kids... Errr, Me :duh:
  3. Isn't that what they normally do ??? Exactly ... That's the whole point Nobody will notice... I can be stealthy until :zee:'s finished cleaning :mat:'s wheels :shutit: :ban-em:
  4. Sounds a little pricey to me ... My bruv recently gave up his immaculate 10k mile 2002 'sport' (02 reg i think). Dealer could only give him £16.2k for it ... Anyway, back to the car in question ... Push for a minimum of 2yrs warranty, 3 if you can get it. If it has the nav system, insist on the latest CD. How about a mesh grille and / or front lip spoiler ? Basically, if they won't move on price, Look at the accessories book and push for as much as you can get They do some cool shades B)
  5. :eerrrmm: <Goose swims to the middle of a big puddle where nobody will notice him> :shutit:
  6. Welcome back Jon mate :D Listen everyone - you can stop with all the 'Judas' talk now
  7. I thought :zee: was in charge of cleaning :mat: 's wheels
  8. Oh dear - I take it that means this is LOC's final year at JAE then :shutit: sorry
  9. Congratulations to you both... Sleep?? No No... Get out and drink BEER while you can :D No doubt Claire will be along shortly with details of LOC childrenswear :shutit:
  10. It's not the same guy who cycled down the middle of the A12 dual carriageway is it ? Caused chaos apparently and was protesting about the lack of cycle lanes :iraqi-info-minister:
  11. Welcome back Les - thought you'd deserted us
  12. To put the Germany thing in perspective ... Yes you can blast along at 150+ on much of the motorway network. There are restricted sections though.. either side of intersections for example. So if there's a limit, there's a reason and from what i've seen, it's mostly obeyed. BUT, you can also be booked for speeding @ less than 20mph !! Outside schools for example. Happened to 2 of my relatives. So, where a limit is merited, it's there... and enforced. Seems perfectly logical to me... but then common sense often does. If there's no real need, why artificially (and needlessly) jam up the traffic.... at some arbitrary speed ramdomly plucked out of the air in the 1960's. Drivers can concentrate on driving rather then looking for cops + cameras. It's all irrelevant anyway. The flow of traffic now on m/ways is way over 70. If they make the limit 80, anyone obeying it will still be causing an obstruction ...
  13. How old is your car ? I believe Lexus extended the warranty on the stereo to 4yrs... May be able to get an exchange replacement from your dealer.
  14. Ever been to Germany? No big deal there ....
  15. Well that's an easy one .... What better birthday treat could any girl have than to be taken to JAE for the day. Spice it up a bit by sorting her a 'sit' in the IS430.... Maybe the monster too.... She'll be well chuffed... and able to brag about it to all her mates
  16. Not gonna comment on the guilty / not guilty bit... Just a couple of small comments though :- Yes. 9/11 was pretty bad. And the connection with Iraq is what exactly ??? I thought that was down to Mr Bin Laden and his merry men. I think the truth is more the US populous expected to see their president kick butt. ( you can see his generals moving the strings which work him if you look carefully ). Couldn't find Bin Ladens butt to kick but had to hit someone - enter stage left... Iraq. Trample all over the united nations - naturally the US knows better ... And for what? To boost the presidents approval rating ? Then there's president B.Liar... or is it ?? Difficult to tell, all i can see is a pair of ankles hanging out of George W's asse ... Ok Blair me ole buddy, we goin' in to kick some Iraqi aise... make no mistake. We'll practice on you guys if that's ok.... Call it friendly fire... Sounds better in the media. Please don't get me wrong, i have no problem with the american people.... BUT, the 'US' (or it's leadership i guess) as a whole strikes me as extremely arrogant. Needs a bit of a poke in the eye now and again to put it in it's place. And a few one liners to finish ... I wondered when the brits would be allowed to start shooting back..... at the americans ! Because of our spineless lowlife 'leader' (using the term in the loosest possible sense) many british families are now grieving - and my brother is stuck out in Bazra .... British and American military intelligence ? If ever there were a contradiction in terms ! British citizens?? Is there such a thing? I'm sure we're 'British Subjects' aren't we ? UN to US : Can we come in please and look for weapons of mass destruction ... US to UN : Errr, no - we haven't quite finished installing them yet ! :iraqi-info-minister:
  17. They have us by the bollox too mate :duh: :iraqi-info-minister: :ban-em:

  20. Hmmm, you don't think that may be tempting fete ?? If you keep a spare drivers side, no prizes for guessing which you'll clobber :D
  21. I'm sure all the LOC members have done this...have you Bazz :winky: :D yes !!! thats why im left handed and walk with a limp Whats wrong with being left handed ? Probably something to do with losing an arm and a leg Chris :duh:
  22. First you'll need to get an 'easy to remember' phone number. Then dream up some 'pick out the air' charging scheme. Do the knowledge - ie. learn high mileage indirect extended routes from A to B. Draft in some classy motors - all with loose rattly interiors and starship mileage. Only then are you ready to begin your apprenticeship as a show fir
  23. My Turbo MR2 had underseal when i brought it to the UK. Maybe they all have some but the european ones have more ?? :iraqi-info-minister:
