  1. Yeah yeah - a likely story ... :shutit: Admin covering up his true thoughts, dreams, fantasies etc
  2. As for which companys paint is used by the lexus approved repairers.. Well that'll be the company who's bosses play golf with the Lexus honchos. Same goes for insurance 'approved' repairers. Bodyshops often have more than one paint 'scheme' in their premises. They only get 'approved' business by having the insurers or manufacturers preferred paint. That's not to say they necessarily use it .... Just have it sitting in the corner and 'stir' it occasionally. It's just the same as any other business... All politics, hospitality, back scratching etc rather than any technical or quality considerations. So, sounds like it's ICI reps who are currently letting Lexus bosses beat them at golf
  3. Royal Sapphire should be a doddle for them. There's only one 'shade' of the colour listed ... In the standox book anyway... and therefore glasurit too i think. Variance is probably in the clearcoat lacquer
  4. Had cause to speak to Nemesis today so asked about the kit... Kind of in response to the other thread on the go at the mo. Anyway ... Available from stock for £2250 + vat i think it was ... Front + Rear bumpers, Sills, Arches, Bonnet. Then simply remove your engine + transmission to complete the job :D
  5. Merc Benz CLK - Class Coupe Avantgarde Merc Benz SLK32 AMG Michelin Pilot Sprt 225/40 18 on BMW Z4 Seems hit and miss whether i get a card or not... Needless to say i always forget to notice until i get home :duh:
  6. Yep, lane discipline (lack of) is the winder upper for me .... Those with exclusive rights to cruise the centre lane of otherwise empty 3 lane m/ways. And the ones stubbornly welded to the outside lane... Well they're doing 70, how could anyone possibly want to get past ? Eventually they pull in, only to pull back out again once you pass = Aaargghhhh :megaangry:
  7. At JAE, car had no engine, gearbox, prop, diff, rear brakes etc .... It's getting a ..... wait for it ..... Nissan 4 cyl engine apparently Saw it on a stand... big turbo...
  8. I dropped by their place a few weeks back. Was told it's based on a japanese sourced kit which is no longer available. I think they've taken moulds off it and are maybe going to produce in house. There was certainly some 'glassing' going on while i was there Looks v.nice though i think i'd skip that rear wing + the eyelids
  9. Well that's a coincidence - posted some mortgage paperwork this morning. Not for the filter though, that's just a replacement panel @ about 35quid. They're obviously in very short supply at the moment hey Mark
  10. I've just stuck with the TTE box that comes with the kit. I am supposed to be replacing the filter with a K+N item though. Mark knows all about that ... :D
  11. He's breathing in ... If he relaxes, it all goes outward ... And he ends up with a beer gut like the rest of us
  12. Not easy without cutting them out. I thought about grabbing another downpipe from a breaker to gut. MOT should be fine... Has to be conducted with engine at running temperature. They should replace your dipstick with a temp probe for the test.
  13. I hear Paul McCartney bought wifey a brand new plane for her birthday. . . . . . . . Oh and a pot of immac for the other leg . . :shutit:
  14. 2 x 10" meat feast pizza's 1 x crispy shredded chilli beef 1 x egg noodles with prawns 2 x special fried rice and if i'm not mistaken ..... the free bottle of coke is to the right, just out of shot !

  17. Excellent service once again from Hadleigh .... Could you possibly add your thoughts to the dealer review section - thanx. Oh, it's here btw ... http://lexusownersclub.co.uk/reviews/index.html
  18. OK i was wrong TTE bumper is without holes as standard. BUT, marked inside the bumper are positions to be cut out for washer installation. Obviously this needs to be done before painting ! So, same part, your choice ... B)
  19. Haven't you bought enough toys already... huh.. I don't know, some people are never satisfied :D
  20. Well, 3 cheers for the Monster then .... Hip Hip ............. Cough cough cough .... Hip Hip ............ Cough splutter splutter splutter .... Hip Hip ............ Splutter splut ... Roarrr ROARRRRRRRRRRR :D How many turbos ? Nice one guys
  21. Pretty sure - they always used to have the washers. Stopped because the edge of the holes was being eaten away or something. Let me double check and get back to you !
