  1. doh! never thought of that He'd still visit if it meant driving with bumper scraping on the ground :zee: And if it wasn't scraping on the way out, it sure would be after the friday
  2. Mmmm not good.... How unfortunate that the impact caught your exhaust too... Shockwaves from which travelled up to the frontpipes causing them to break. You better get some different ones fitted. Check for suspension damage also... very sensitive to collision damage is that. :zee:
  3. Yes - very yummy food... and pudding too... awesome. What dya mean you didn't have pudding - your loss !! :) Thanks Stu - pressure's off now - relax.. Hope you enjoyed your tea too mate :)
  4. Or alternatively inflate them nice and hard
  5. £138 for the key / transmitter. Add half an hour labour to program the car to accept it. Should be 3 keys - 2x3 button and 1x2 button (no boot opener) Also, there's a finite no. of keys that can be programmed in the car. Once all used up, i think you need to have the whole system changed.
  6. Ouch - pulled by the fuzz ?? That's gotta hurt :zee:
  7. I'd be interested to know what version your new cd is when it arrives. I think there was a rumour that 3.7 had been superceded. Not heard anything definite to that effect though.
  8. Later CD adds features to nav system on LS400 + GS300 ... House no. input Map scale bar design is changed Recalculate whole route Delete next way point Toll road priority Set clock from GPS signal (GS only) I guess the obvious advantage of a PDA system is you can take it from car to car or bike or whatever.
  9. Holey Moley that's very very effective ... Specially since it was blue to start with :iraqi-info-minister:
  10. I'm sure it says 1 million mile warranty on the box and sticker :)
  11. Yes i should think so too... I'm very disappointed at the slack rate of progress you lazy bum
  12. Shouldn't there be something about egg and chips in there somewhere ?
  13. Which is especially galling when it's some cheapo muck, synthetic or otherwise, that they probably pay about 50p a litre for - or less Picture the scene... I peruse dealer service bill to see 53quid for oil - Jeeperz! Point out that in 5 secs with a browser, found shop with same oil for 24quid. Dealer reduces cost to 27quid... ok that'll do. I mention the (very good) BP stuff at work and that it's only £1 a litre bulk. Blimey says service manager - that's expensive.. followed by embarrassed look as he realizes what he's just implied As Colin says - supply your own, don't get fleeced !!
  14. Don't forget that the IS has been around a while now. No doubt it's successor will be loaded with more up to date toys. I must say, from the list so far... it IS toys people are after. Not many 'drivers' round here then :) I'd say nice V8 before radio buttons.. Tasteful exhaust note before trip computer..
  15. There have been 'issues' with IS200 timing belts failing WAY before their due date. Dealer tech recently showed me one he was doing - looked worryingly frayed!! Warned me to keep an eye on mine - not easy to get a look at though.
  16. Was gonna say phrases 'hotel' or 'B+B' and suchlike spring to mind Then read the bit where that'd already been covered :)
  17. 8x19 45mm offset with 225/35x19 tyres should be ok without arch mods. Any wider wheel/tyre and/or less offset is likely to need some modding Allegedly :)
  18. Couple of quips i've seen recently though can't recall where .. Might have been here... Anyway... A persons desire to become an MP ... should be sufficient grounds for them to be prevented from ever doing so. How can MP's believe in the wisdom of the people ... knowing that it was those same people who voted them into office ? :duh: Bunch of worthless toadying crooks the lot of them
  19. A bigger Loewe TV than i eventually bought anyway :)
  20. Steve and Matt sound like they're reading from a script :)
  21. Paul. If you wanna go in a IS200 SC, you only need ask :) FWIW, i had a go in IS300 at openroad too. Enjoyed it loads - surprised myself at that but the tiptronic was fun. Not sure if the fun would be there long term but hey i'm tempted ! Hmm, Wonder what Mr TTE recommends in the SC dept for those ? Don't TRD do one stateside ? Hmm, wonder if it'd fit RHD <evil grin>
  22. Were these people called something else before ?? Extreme something or other was it ?? Maybe i'm thinking of someone else ... Hmmm, where's my coat :)
