    I've got no pre-cats and got through the first mot this week. Fast Idle test. RPM = 2770 (allowed 2500 -> 3000) CO% = 0.004 (allowed up to 0.3) HC ppm = 0 (allowed up to 200) Lambda = 1.001 (allowed 0.97 -> 1.03) Natural Idle test. RPM = 658 (allowed 450 -> 1500) CO% = 0.005 (allowed up to 0.5) Apparently a 'test drive' to warm the remaining cat was required though :)

    Ooh dear - was he alright ? Not a very friendly thing to do what with Poland only just having joined the EU :P Looking at the pic .. You might find after a while, the paint around the bump will get a 'crazed' effect. looks like small cracks in the finish... something like a cobweb... Sorry, not much help i know but just wanted to get the 'pole' bit in :D

    My car had a new screen recently + bit of paintwork.. It arrived back at dealership on a bank hol monday. They called me on a bank holiday monday. I collected it on a bank holiday monday. In the process, returned courtesy car on... wait for it... a bank holiday monday :P Obviously not Edgware Rd though :duh:

    It was suggested the sld920 may be a little more intelligent than the lrc100. It analyses the incoming signal and responds in a way which doesn't trigger the 'being jammed' error on the originating gun. That's what i read anyway :P

    I supplied some Duckhams Q semi-synthetic last time. No particular reason... oh, it's green instead of brown ... Any reasonable quality oil should do fine.

    Quite common on IS200 - even from new. Take it back and get it done again - properly this time Don't take any lame excuses... It IS possible to get it right... Took Lexus 3 clutches, 2 flywheels + a slave cylinder on mine... but it's ok now. 3rd time round, they mentioned something about revised parts + procedures. They didn't seem to be able to elaborate further so not sure of the details.

    Having stood by while one of these RAC checks is done, i'd say it's worthless. Car was in showroom. Dealership manager had a word with RAC man. Said they had 'prepped' the car and didn't really want to move it. RAC man walked round car, sat inside, completed paperwork and left. Now i'm not saying this is typical, but having seen this, in my mind an RAC check is now logged as purely a paperwork exercise. Could go some way to explain your problem though

    thats right,, give this thread a sensible answer wont you mr goose..lol Ok Ok enough already ... :duh: It's obvious isn't it ?? Honda engines all have a twin .... Since this occured yesterday, and twins have this uncanny telepathic link, this lawnmower engine is clearly the twin of a certain F1 engine ... There, is that more up to my usual standards :P
