Hi. I got my TRD Oil Filter today, its probably the smallest oil filter i have seen, Normally i don't see them as my garage sorts it all out for me but i thought i would do something a bit special the time along with better oil. previous cars i have had the oil filters are almost twice the size...are all IS200 oil filters smaller or is it because its TRD? Diameter is 75mm x 80mm high Aaron

I have used Nitrox once. seems good. I use STP injector cleaner every 3-6months or Forte if I can get hold of it. Always use BP Ultimate or V-Power, mainly Ultimate

IK20's are for standard IS200. IK22's are for s/c cos they run hotter or something.

sure its s/c related and not a spark plug/coil pack breaking down?

never noticed road noise, but i have a Kazama, girlfriend banging on in my ear and Goodyear F1's. Have you got correct tyre pressures?

Looks good, did you buff it by hand or use a machine? Do IS300's have a larger lip spoiler than IS200 sports?

I recently contacted alpine about this as nothing was said about mine and my partners stereo's being able to play MP3 files on a DVD disc, they currently have about 4 head units that can play these types of disc, but a tad expensive.

Thats good! i got 12k from my last lot. Goodyear Eagle F1 GSD2, I now have GSD3's but hard to say what im gertting as i have had winter tyres since the end of Nov. I tend to drive my car quite hard.

also did mine yesturday, looked at it this morning to find cat prints all over it, then started to rain not long till summer tho' looks good Jay!

Agreed :D had mine on for over a year now, am still v-happy with it! with a Kazama and higher grade fuel (v-power/ultimate) its excellent! Not forgetting my heat shield. :winky: Don't forget that the Apexi filter on the Prolex induction kit is reusable, i have recharged mine using the K&N cleaning kit and all is good.

Hi I have had a Prolex induction kit for some time now, I have always wanted to put a heat shield on it, after looking around for one, ebay etc with little luck. I got in contact with a supplier we use at work, thats a metal fabricator, drew a few things up and this friday i put the final touches to it and put the mounting tags on and now its fitted, Im very happy with it. Next task will be to duct some extra air to it Aaron

did you get your plugs off ebay? i think mine were a bit more expensive than that but they are TRD IK20's, prob no different just more expensive.

got mine off ebay, have seen them on there 1 other time, you maybe lucky.

IS200's are group 12 ins... Sport is group 13 ins & has a LSD, manual trans only.

Hello. I have used additives for many years on various types and ages of cars, Fords, VW's and my IS200. I have not had any issues with them and I have only had good reports to give on them...I do however use them every 3-6months and generally when i am doing a long journey so its being run through at normal running temp and with a full tank of petrol. my last 2 cars i have run on the better grade of petrol, this has been over the last 4 years or so, these have been my IS200 and VW Corrado, Both cars feel better with the highewr grade fuel. I have seen that some garages are offering a complete fuel system clean which consists of a Forte fuel additive. About 7 months ago i changed the plugs in my IS to IK20's and the Denso plugs that come out were nice and clean, I had run a couple of fuel additives and been filling up on BP's ultimate. Aaron
