  1. Chipping does not work on the IS200, get a S/C if you want more power :D
  2. It may be that it needs a service, take it would be an 80k service? my guessing would be a main service? Spark plugs in good condition? My IS200 has thew joltyness when its on its effective 'choke' stage...it did go when i cleaned the throttle body and run through a fuel system cleaner. The tapping could just be your fuel injection system. Do you use higher grade fuel, BP Ultimate or Shell V-Power? Fuel economy, are your tyres correct psi? Aaron
  3. Halfords or motorstores. Take your car so you can compare them (can't remember what size) either get a fancy colour silicon on or a black one...get a couple of jubilee clips too, so its fitted well. The bit Under Cusco is what you need :winky: Mine has printed on it 15.8mm (possibly int' dia')
  4. <~~~I'm so jealous! Are you happy with it?
  5. Induction kit is easy to fit, you WILL need a longer oil breather pipe.
  6. Misco/Maplins do power supplies, make sure you get the right one. mine did this a while ago, wasn't the power supply, motherboard died...apparently don't happen very often...think it might be an E-Machines thing because a mates did the same.
  7. Happy Birthdays! Busy month for birthdays :)
  8. Will do :winky: I was going to get the Pipercross kit, (with the anodised ends) and fit it into the front bumper, remembered its me doing it and will probably **** it up :D
  9. Hi. I have my Prolex Induction Kit fitted, My next task is to get some cold air ducting to the air filter. I have 60mm K&N ducting, I was going to run it from next to the drivers side foglight to under the air filter. With this route will the system suck in water when it rains causing damage to the engine? Is the metalwork (inner wing/inner wheel arch) under the filter a major piece as I will need to cut out a 60-70mm hole to run the ducting through Has anybody else done this and if so have they got any pics? Cheers Aaron
  10. looks good, glad you happy with it :)
  11. Hi, Welcome to LOC :)
  12. I have never used an engine flush.
  13. I have wanted to do this for a long time. I may not be around much in June so im a ???
  14. no probs with that speed bump, i didn't hear any crunches or scrapes.
  15. Looks good, I like the colour! :D Whats the square thing under your stereo? Where did you get your wind defleters from?
  16. think they get the info from your nectar card. I keep filling up with ultimate, but not getting anything, well done!
  17. A Lex can handle higher mileage so don't be put off if you see one with 100k but make sure the cam belt has been done as they need doing on 100k. mine is on 126k and still going very well. good luck, remember the Sport is an insurence group higher than the rest of the IS200's from what i have seen french cars start to struggle after 60k...there built to a budget, but still good cheap first cars.
  18. I quite like those, considered one for a while, I remember seeing that they cheated with the exshausts...think its just a bolt on tip but the exuat inside bends down or something. Very nice car, I don't know much about them appart from theres a 4wd one.
  19. I had a rare car, is good because they hold there price really well, down side is adding the miles and keeping it in good condition...I made the mistake of getting rid of mine as now they are slowly increasing in price. What are you going to get next
