    On tick-over my car rocks from side to side slightly, if I rev the engine then it stops. It is worse when the engine is cold but still there when warm. Does anybody else suffer from this, I have experienced it before but that was due to the cam fitted, not on a standard engine.

    I have a slight noise from the gearbox when the engine is ticking over too, goes away when I dump the clutch. I thought about the release bearing, but with only 4,500 miles on the clock?? Does any body else's engine rock slightly on tick over, I can feel a rocking in the car. It is worse when cold but still present when warm.

    I've been to plenty of "Run What Ya Brung's", not with my Lexus but my Beetle. They are excellent, but watch out you might be shown up by a rough looking bug with a monster 48IDA motor out back !!!:lol:

    Has anybody had a cracked windscreen replaced? If so, who by and were they any good? Is there a difference between the SE and Sport windscreen? :?:

    Found it a local independant store in Wigston Leics. I think they might be part of Motorworld, Graham Goode in Leicester sell it also. You can be on-line direct from Meguairs web site.

    There are no Lexus parts detailed on the web site, but they tell me they are available. I do not have the part number, but Graham Goode have it recorded as I said there may be a bit of interest in these products. Matt was going to contact them in reference to a club discount, I'm not sure how he got on or if he has made contact yet.

    I find it difficult to make a smooth change from first to second if I am not revving over 4K. I have not been back to the dealer with this problem, thought it was just how things were with the Lexus gearbox.

    I was talking to Graham Goode in Leicester yesterday about items available for the IS200. They said an induction kit was available for £295.00 + VAT, very nice to look at will plenty of metal pipe work. They are going to get back to me with picturs and details of the HKS Drager exhaust. Has anybody heard of this induction kit?

    You could try Meguiars scratch remover, I used their polish for the first time at the weekend I was very impressed with the results. You can order on line or contact them to see if any where local sells it yet.

    I used to compete in SPL comp's, was thinking about doing an enclosure in the boot with the port being positioned in line with the ski hatch. Has any body done anything major with the IS as a base car ?

    That car looks like it should be in the new Austin Powers movie !!

    I used "ChipMaster" to repair my alloy, you can't tell where the damage was now. Their number is - 07812 729986 or 07812 734864. They only charged me £10.00 !!
