  1. :oLooking big Matt, now you have these fitted does it when you will have more brake dust to contend with :eyes: Are these an "off the shelf" set up or special order only?
  2. Agree with above comments, I would never put any car of mine through a car wash let alone my Lexus. Just imagine the swirl marks on my black paint:o.
  3. Looks very smart Mat, not sure how you link it to the sigh up page.
  4. No problems since fitting my grille, just have to brush the dead flies off the radiator every so often.
  5. Welcome to the club Rich, the best way to release more power is to fit a Supercharger; the people to talk to are TDI who advertise on this site, Mark is your man there. There are a few members with this mod, I'm sure they will answer any questions you may have. As for connecting your radar detector I can't see it being hard, a simple case of taking an ignition controlled feed. Any decent auto electrican should be able to do that for you.
  6. Sorry Gordon, but I'm getting the same as Steve & Kieran :?:
  7. I had the whole car treated with Super Guard, not sure of it's worth on the exterior, but the interior does seem to come up clean easily. Still have to treat the leather though.
  8. Supercharged Morph had a carbon trim kit fitted to his dash board. Try sending him a U2U; his kit was fitted by his Lexus dealer, can't remember where he got it from though.
  9. I'll be there, lets just hope there is no snow on the roads. Would be a pretty interesting convoy if there is.
  10. Nice one Rob, well done. See you around soon. Johnny.
  11. Nice bike Vince, I enjoy looking & watching bikes but not too keen on trusting myself on two wheels! My other motoring passion is VW's, I love being able to work on my own cars using tools not laptops. Plus it's a great buzz when you beat a Scooby from the traffic light grand prix in a 40 year old slow noisy car!! Mine is in bits at the moment but should run the quarter mile in 11-12 seconds when finished.
  12. I test drove the new Laguna, not very impressed when going round corners, plent of toys and a V6 though. I was on my way to the Alfa showroom when I passed Lexus, I thought I wish I could afford one of those. Stopped to have a look anyway, was shocked by the price. Had a test drive and then ordered mine there and then. Been happy motoring since :bounce:
  13. Nice one mate, I hope it all works out. I'll keep in touch, you can send us some nice pictures of the sights you will see over there ;) What are you doing about your car?
  14. I enjoy the odd game. Its a useful thing to carry around though, had to get it out once about five years ago to protect my Beetle install, I've just transfered it from cars since. Must carry a ball though to avoid problems with the police.
  15. I think the one on the right is for a first aid kit and the ones at the front are for a warning triangle. I use the front two to secure a baseball bat.
  16. That sums you your views on the filter I take it then !
  17. Looks noce pal, I wondered what I was looking at though when I first opened the file. There is a strange Austin Powers type mist surrounding your car
  18. That works out to approx. £90.00 + shipping. Sounds ok, is it for a standard IS200 engine? i.e. no compressor. Looking at the pictures this company has gone along a similar route to Pipercross, by replacing the complete casing for a drop in paper type filter and replaced it with a foam element type.
  19. How is that going to force cold air into the intake? I am looking forward to your feed back Tim. Who's car is it in the photo with it fitted?
  20. Try insure.co.uk, they can be very good on price.
  21. Does it happen every time you press your clutch pedal?
  22. We could buy it for a club project car, get club sponsers to supply parts & labour. What do you think a stripped out drag car or rally spec ?
  23. Spotted this damaged IS200 Sport on E-Bay. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...item=1758257321
