  1. Yes, was a waste of time removing tar spots!! Never used it to try and remove stickers though.
  2. Try heating the remaining sticker with a hair drier, should soften it then wipe off with warm soapy water.
  3. Dash Tray Click on the Dash Tray link. Could you not use this as a starting point, easier to get than an sat nav unit, I would imagine it would be fairly easy to mount a unit in there and then create an assembly to auto tilt via push button.
  4. If you mean tinting your front windows to match the side tint of a Sport, then I think it looks good. If you go too dark I think it can look silly, be sensible and you will be :D whilst driving, not looking like this :o when you run into something that you were unable to see.
  5. My car ride height is stock for a 2002 Sport which is 15mm lower than a S or SE model. It may well be going lower soon though :D.
  6. It may be worth spending a couple of hundred ££'s with a company such as ChipsAway to bring your car into the A1 bracket with no doubt. If you are trading your car in then the dealer will pick up on any little marks and knock your price down.
  7. Parkers Value Click on the above link to see the Parkers value for your car.
  8. Welcome number 6, hope you have as much fun as me keeping your car clean :flaming:
  9. I believe the statement of only bringing 7k IS's in per year is due to import restrictions, any body know different :?:
  10. Is that one of your a subtle hints Matt?
  11. Try this link, sorry. Chrome Rims
  12. I've got a couple of sets in my garage if you would some Claire :bounce:.
  13. Chrome rims link Would not mind a set of these for summer use The price is not too bad, hmmm I wonder how much shipping would cost.
  14. I would guess "imi" is looking for headlight eyebrows, these are small covers for the top of the headlight, Grahame (brn7y) has got a set fitted to his black IS200. I'm sure Alan Tang of Modet can supply some, or Toms in the USA.
  15. Looking good Si, plenty of fun to be had now :D
  16. Welcome to the club Big Bird, have a look at this link for your spoiler. http://shop.store.yahoo.com/lexusparts/rearwing.html
  17. Wouldn't be on e-bay by any chance would it?
  18. Use your wiper blades  Seriously though the best way to clear the window if it becomes fogged is the air con as this will dry the air hitting the windows. P.S. Welcome to the club Dean
  19. I may do if my mate takes his Bug down, not sure how the weather is going to turn though.
  20. The method that most people use to remove badges is to use a hair drier to apply heat onto the badge which then turns the adhesive soft allowing you to lift the badge away. You should then be able to remove left over adhesive, give the area a polish and job done. I'm sure others that have done this will give you their words of wisdom soon enough.
  21. Andy, Your mpg will suffer even more now with the extra weight your carrying. Then when you think about your stereo install as well that must weigh some :D:P
  22. Kieran, are you going to have your car back in time for RWYB at Santa Pod this weekend?
  23. :o:o:o Blimey what car is it? Pedal Power??
  24. I average around 24mpg :(. Did manage to get 26mpg once on a longer journey.
  25. This kit is available new or as an option later on. Your dealer should be able to supply you with a quote for supply, paint & fit or supply only. Andy Hart had this kit fitted from new as part of the pack which includes 18" wheels.
