  1. You cant get the mesh off, it is attached to the rear shelf. Taking the rear shelf out is dead easy though.

1.) remove back seats (bottom part just pulls off, back part is held in with 4 bolts and clips in at the top. push upwards to disconnect clips)

2.) remove c-pillar covers (these just pull off)

3.) gently pull shelf upwards (there is one push in clip in the centre)

You should now be able to slide the shelf out of the way to hoover your cones.

    have fun!!!!

  2. In my opinion Chris, go for the bodykit over the mud flaps. I would probably go for the TRD one because the sport styling kit is becoming too damm popular :( :( :( Dont get me wrong, I love the kit on mine but we were in Lexus Leicester yesterday and they had 4 cars in with the styling kit.

Time for a bodykit change methinks............. <_<

  3. Right, here goes, we will meet at around 8.30pm in ARUBA, 6 CORPORATION STREET, CHESTERFIELD S41 7TP

Unfortunately there is no parking outside, so I would recommend parking at one of the two big car parks on the B6057 on SALTERGATE, CHESTERFIELD. These are literally 300-400 yards away from Aruba.

  4. What a great night!

Again, great to meet Loz and Ifraz and put a name to the faces

Clawley and I stayed for quite a while after all you guys left, driving sensibly :whistling: with the black pug 205 GTI and the bird driving the 206 CC. We had quite a hair raising moment when we pulled round the final corner onto the finishing straight to be greeted by the sight of the local constabulary in the posing lane.... we went from about 6000 rpm to 1000 in 1 second :whistling::whistling::whistling:

It must have been a fantastic sight when we surrounded the blue IS and the white Celica GT4 - like something out of the fast and the furious!

Lets do it again soon guys :lol::lol:

PS dont forget about Chesterfield tonight - anyone is welcome!

If anyone needs directions or the meeting place, pm me

  5. :yahoo:

ahha bring out the virgins :D

(must add......no pics of the car.......not before its finished @TDI , anyone caught taking pics will have the camera confiscated and the film removed......)

Your car will be safely tucked up at my house Matthew you fool.........:blink::blink:

  6. I think we are planning to go to Chesterfield on Friday night for a good old Northern drinking session

Chesterfield sounds OK too - will come back up the M1.

dunno about any good ole northern drinking sessions though - would be girly soft drinks for me.

Excellent stuff Matt, glad you are coming :yahoo:

You may not be able to join in the drinking session, but I insist you have the greasy kebab :D :D

Why dont you stay in the same hotel as Zee is staying in? Its costing him £40 for the night - you never know, he might let you squeeze in next to him and share the bill :hehe::hehe::hehe:

  7. The car with TRD kit up there looks mighty fine.........  :whistling:

If you look very closely, you can just about make out the huge parking dent in the rear bumper of FXR 1...... :P :P :P

There is even a guy stood behind the car pointing and laughing in the other pic! :D :D :D

  8. Do you mean one of THESE?

That would be fine, but you would not get very deep bass with an 8" woofer. That suits some people who are just looking for an improvement over standard, but if you want serious bass then you need to be looking at 10's, 12's or 15's. An active subwoofer (one with the amp built onto the sub enclosure) is the perfect solution for someone looking for 'removeable' bass. You could just attach it with velcro to the boot carpet. You would just have to get a speaker-RCA convertor for the input signal to the amp, and run a power feed from the Battery to the rear of the car.

It all depends what sort of performance you want from a sub, as to what route you go down

  9. When I enquired about stealth boxes, they did not make one for the IS200 but that was in July last year. Although they did say that if anyone could leave their car with them for a week to measure up for one, they would get one free and a second one at a discounted rate. They are based daarrnn saarrff though so its out of the question for me being a northerner :duh:
