Yes Rich, cant find anyone else to fit them nearer to me :( Well actually I can, but they cant fit me in for a few weeks, so Hatfield it is. Me an Zee (or Zee and I ) will be there from 9am untill its done, which should be around 12ish. You coming round to R-Tec then??

One other thing, the guy said that lowering the car would void the warranty. But with a car like this, how can you NOT lower it??
I cannot comment on Lexus Oz, but Lexus GB would not invalidate your warranty for lowering the car. Lexus GB's view is that they only invalidate the part of the warranty which has been modified, IF the modification has DIRECTLY caused a fault.
For example, if you fitted a HKS muffler and the catalytic convertor malfunctioned, they would still honour the warranty and replace the cat.
Conversely, if you lowered the car 100mm and this caused part of the suspension to break due to the fact it was lowered 100mm, they you would have to foot the bill for repair, although the warranty on the rest of the car would remain intact.
Hope this clarifies it a bit OZIS200 :) :) :)
BTW, Lexus GB customer services told me this, so don't blame me if it is wrong :D :D :D

But our friends in the insurance industry would argue that the cost to replace these parts, increases the value of your car, and associated repair/replacement costs, therefore you will have to pay more insurance to cover these. <_<
Like Gord says, your premium will more than likely go up when you fit coilovers.
What annoys me most of all is that they increase the premium and tell you that 'its because the value of your car has increased', yet if it came to a situation where they had to pay out on your car, you would only be covered for factory replacements

I was thinking of getting a MOMO gear know. My question is.. are all gear knob fittings the same? do they all have the same size part to screw onto?
thanks
From my experience of Momo knobs in the past (boy racer saxo days :D ) they come with various sized collars to suit all gear sticks. The only different types you get are ones with a lift up reverse. Hope this helps :)

I bought some PIAA silicone wipers on saturday and they are pretty damm good let me tell you. The only critisism I have of them is that they do not do them with a spoiler so when you get above 80 (km/h of course ) they judder a bit. The good thing is though, with the silicone coating they put on the window, you dont really need them on at all! I was driving home today with no wipers on in moderate rain and could see perfectly. :arrrggg-matey: <_<
