  1. I know road tax in Ireland is crippling (€2400.00) for a band G so maybe referring to there?
  2. How about the rest of the ignition system HT leads, rotor arms, distributor caps, are they original ? I replaced all mine a little while before selling it and considering it appeared all original at 25 years old the only physical damage was hairline cracks in the rotor arms and it did cure the same problem you have. All parts came from Rockauto (NGK/Bosch)
  3. This guy is pretty good with spares and advice. https://tinyurl.com/244fvxt9
  4. Agree with Linas, the basic wheel requirements are 5 stud with a 114.3 PCD, offset 40-45 and centre bore 60.1 the latter adjustable down with spigot rings. A lot of Japanese cars use this pattern. Also make sure you fit the correct wheel nuts for the type of wheel, most aftermarket wheels use cone nuts.
  5. I’ve used them in the past too. Needed a N/S UCA for my 1994....Lexus price £521.00...same OEM part from Jap-Parts £150.00.
  6. I also thought that and checked but apparently not. Pretty sure you could make up the pipe work from some generic plastic tubing instead of all the individual pieces shown on the diagram however.
  7. Vladimir, having taken a look it would appear both Brent and yourself started a new topic with the same title “Fifth Gear Recharged” around the same time. I’m not sure if these merged automatically or a mod has done it manually (not me) but this would appear to be the case and hence why your opening topic now appears as a reply.
  8. For some reason Amayama won’t send the parts to the UK and they are model specific to the ISF after cross referencing.
  9. Hi Darius and welcome to the LOC. How did you end up needing these bits? Pretty sure another member will have some leads in locating what you need, problem is there aren't many if any being broken for spares and I can imagine what Lexus want to charge for new! Found this https://tinyurl.com/2p89wb9t
  10. “Touch wood” yes....on the door capping, along the dash and around the shifter panel all real wood veneer on mine 😀
  11. Try these guys, several members have used them in the past with good results. https://www.biggred.co.uk/caliper/view/229012
  12. I can’t see anything in the MOT testers manual to suggest a vehicle could be failed for this warning plus if it was the car would have been failed on it last year. I would leave it as it is, it’s not a safety issue and up to you whether you have it fixed.
  13. Your looking at around £70.00 from a UK dealer (extortionate) but if you can wait a while around a third of that from Amayama shipped assuming it is the sensor that is causing the fault.
  14. Secondary cats, I’ve learnt something new today, I looked at the diagram initially and thought they were silencers 😀
  15. It’s going to be an insurance job for sure, the cats (x2) are part of the exhaust manifolds ( see prices below) plus if they have cut the flanges on the centre exhaust system you will need one of these too, looking at around £4000.00 plus labour! If you’ve been quoted just £474 they’ll be straight pipes not cats.
  16. Are these fitted with the “Direct Injection” engines?
  17. No only occasionally on very poor road surfaces and even then still difficult to hear it.
  18. I also have a 2004 Celsior on coils, have the exact same symptoms under the same road conditions but it’s never bothered me. It was pointed out to me during the test drive but I couldn’t hear anything myself and passed the MOT without comment. Which coil set up do you have, mine is the static conversion kit from Strut masters? Have you checked the diff mounts and the spare wheel well for loose items? Maybe find a local garage with a shaker plate ramp and take another look under near real world conditions.
  19. It’s a 2013 model year not 2014 as falsely described although I would expect nothing more from this criminally convicted motor trader, also Cat S. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/304275312646?hash=item46d838d006:g:khIAAOSw51Vhze9n
  20. https://fuse-box.info/lexus/lexus-ct200h-a10-2011-2017-fuses
  21. No, there are reluctor rings and sensors on all the hubs not just the rears.
  22. I think it has a lot to do with where you live Lee, think about it loads of tourists wanting to visit Nora Batty’s steps and Sid’s Cafe all looking for that elusive parking space. Increased chance of parking dings = increased premiums 😀
