The book has arrived from the US It only covers the LHD model but that's not a problem at least I have one and know what does what. Thanks to everybody for their suggestions and input.

Yes I've seen it same seller as the last one but it's a 93 model I think. BUT here's the good news I found one as suggested on ebay.com and for a mere $44.00 including shipping I bought it. So I can't wait to get reading although may be some minor differences OR is MY steering wheel on the wrong side of the car! Hmmmmmm!

Hi, That's what I did with the switch and all seems fine. I found the info at www.lextreme.com/airbaglight.html £30.00 at the dealers is now in my fuel tank! Pity the passenger ejector seat sets itself off without warning now though!

Hi, Yes it could but through what I've read in this case i.e. airbag light stops on after dash removal if ignition is turned on with it removed and going by the fact it was removed to convert speedo it throws up a code 41 I think which can be reset with this method. I would think if there were an actual fault on the airbag system the fault would be detected again and the light would come back on ( which then becomes a dealer diagnosis I would say) , been out twice in it since the reset and no light so fingers crossed

Hi, Day off work today so decided to reset the airbag light which was on when I bought the car ( probably after the speedo/delimiter work) Found out how to reset it and made the switching unit,this consisted of an electric window switch from a r*v*r car and threepieces of wire with pin inserts. Crapping myself I followed the instructions and low and behold it worked!!! no more airbag light constantly glowing red at me and spoiling the dash display. If anyone has the same problem and would like to borrow the kit ( for the price of a stamp both ways) to reset it please contact me. Just got to reset the passenger ejector seat now (well she was late for work!!!!!)

Hello again everybody, Thanks to everyone for the info on my previous threads but here I go again! Just missed out on an original new owners handbook on E-bay ( though no one will be bidding at this time of the day WRONG!!!) Would someone be prepared to copy/ scan a manual ( I know it's copywrite but I'm desperate!!) and either e-mail me or sent me the copy on cd (I will pay!!!!!!!) well, within reason. By the way I am driving a recently purchased Celsior in bronze 1994 registed 38,000 miles on the clock (converted km equivalent)

I would think very carefully before jumping in on this idea. Insurance is heavily loaded I would guess as you would have to have cover for Hire and Reward ( wouldn't fancy some MD suing for a broken finger nail getting out of the car) These cars are made for this job but it could be an expensive project

Hello again, I am on a steep learning curve with my LS400 import, today I hope some kind soul will explain the operation of the cruise control. I have tried to set it but don't like driving whilst fiddling around and my eyes arn't on the road. thanks, Steve

Hi, Having just purchased my LX 400 Celsior ( feb 1994) and getting used to it. I have only one key for it which has LOCK/UNLOCK DOOR written on it and a single push button down the side this opens the car door locks and works in the ignition. Can anyone tell me if this is a master key or not. Also the remote central locking does not work I assume that this is activated by pressing the button on the key?( I have already checked the switch in the car is on, I've been learning from this forum all day!!!) I also assume the key has a battery inside but would like to know how to access it to replace the battery. I don't want to damage it because I guess it's chipped to the cars security system. Sorry about all the questions but I don.t have the owners manual ( it was in japanese anyway!) Many Thanks, Steve. PS Many thanks to Chips for your earlier help

Hello everybody and I have just joined the forum, I bought an imported LS400 ( celsior badged) Tuesday with 38,000 miles ( km convertion) and very impressed with it. Has the a/c clock display problems so if any one knows where to obtain a replacement lcd I have the technical ability to replace them. Also could do with the owners handbook ( or a copy) because there are buttons everywhere! Finally I only have one key any advise on additional keys would be great.
