  1. Hi Jade, I can answer most questions but struggling with this one, I’m guessing the SC manufacturer would be the best starting point. TBH I didn’t even know the pulley had a clutch just assumed direct drive. There are a lot of posts on the Toyota Yaris forums regarding this problem which may provide some helpful info plus I found this link albeit in the USA. http://www.atiracing.com/superpulley/index.htm
  2. Hi Davis and welcome. Just a quick translation for you In the UK Trunk is Boot Hood is Bonnet Fender is Wing Tires are Tyres Turn Signals are Indicators Rotors are Brake Discs. 😀😀😀
  3. Hi Paul and welcome to the LOC. It is usually a defective LCD panel, the connections are gold bonded to the screen...if they become loose at the side you get a horizontal line or top or bottom results in a vertical line. Have you tried gently touching the screen to see if it goes? If you have only had the car a week and it was purchased from a motor dealer take it back for repair, if bought privately your stuck.
  4. Shed search delayed due to snow! Has a quick look inside but couldn’t open lower door, will attempt again asap.
  5. I have no information on the later models, on mine it was just cutting a link in the Cruise Control ECU.
  6. No, IIRC Lexus use a 5 stud wheel with a PCD of 114.3mm ( distance between hole centres) and Mercedes use 120mm. A lot of Japanese cars use the same as Lexus Mazda RX7/8 for example, Mitsubishi EVO. Other considerations are wheel offset....how far they stick out either side.
  7. €120.00 plus 20% VAT plus 5% import duty plus another 50% You’ve left the EU tariff 😀 They’ve messed up their vaccine order so car parts toGB will certainly stall.
  8. Have you tried driving it for a while to see if the system resets/relearns ?
  9. Ooooops! I think the part number is the same for all 3 models, how come you need a rad cap?
  10. For OEM try your local Lexus dealer or Lexus Parts Direct. For aftermarket ebay https://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=p2380057.m570.l1313&_nkw=lexus+rx350+radiator+cap&_sacat=0
  11. Could I add a couple of points, replace the cabin filter at regular intervals and use an air conditioning aerosol cleaner yearly. These help keep the system efficient and bacteria free respectively.
  12. Hello and welcome to the LOC. Sorry that’s technology beyond my comprehension but pretty sure some members will help you out shortly.
  13. An article I ‘be just read in my Sunday paper regarding the Nissan GT-r (apparently Nissan have dropped Skyline). A Nismo model at £180.000 with 600 odd BHP!
  14. I don’t know about later models but the cruise control limit is easily removed on mine by cutting a link on the ECU. Yep weird sensation when the limiter cuts in .......just feels like the transmission has disconnected drive.
  15. Fortunately mine was already converted (black box job), this apparently also should have removed the speed limiter at 180 KPH (112 MPH) but hasn’t.
  16. I have since avoided going to any zoos, Windsor Safari Park or Gibraltar .....those monkeys don’t need any further encouragement 😀
  17. B & M were selling a snow foam kit which included a bottle with integrated sprayer which connected to a standard hosepipe fitting. Produces plenty of foam although the quoted amount of washes per bottle is a bit optimistic unless you have an original Fiat 500, clings well enough and smells of bananas.
  18. Pretty sure there is one in my shed stock, getting dark now but will forage tomorrow.
  19. I don’t know if this is a record but at 26 years old and just over 92,000 miles mine is still on all the original discs with just a perceptible lip. Talking of horse power could you imagine a cart being pulled by 250 horses down the M1 😀 If you ever see a pile of manure in lane 3 take extra care!
  20. If yours is similar to mine Phil there is no physical aerial as the rear window de- mist elements act as the aerial, there should be a module in the boot where it interfaces to coaxial. There again who wants to miss Pop Master at 10.30 am 😀
  21. I purchased my 1994 Celsior back in 2006 and during my ownership have never paid more than £300.00 fully comprehensive (I was 47 back then with full NCB). For the last five years I have had “classic” insurance costing this year around £180.00 fully comp, agreed value and nil deduction salvage should the worst happen. Mileage is limited to 3000 a year. ( Ron this is with Footman James). Mine was purchased from a Blackpool landlord who dabbled in Japanese imports, the speedometer was already converted from 62,000km to 38,000 miles, the rear inner cluster tail lights were converted to both tail and fog lights professionally so no ugly aftermarket light swinging under the bumper. Although the original ICE failed it did have the radio frequency changer fitted which then covered most of the UK FM band 2. The blackened climate control LCD was replaced by myself when you could pick up a RHD replacement for $50.00 shipped. I paid £3750.00 for the car back then, it still hasn’t reached 100,000 miles and is now insured for £5500.00.
  22. Surely they are required on the rear as they have the parking brake mechanism attached to them? At £400.00 is that just for the parts or including fitting? Rockauto have them in stock for £85.00 a pair then add in another £15.00 for shipping and 20% pre paid VAT.
