  1. Hi Steve it’s Ted with the LS400 hope you remember me and hope you’re doing good i have a question for you and hope you can help me i have a warning light coming up on the dashboard and it says headlight levelling. Kind regards ted

      Hi Ted,

      Good to hear from you, finished work now so enjoying a quieter life, hope all is good with you.

      The most common cause is the rear height sensor.

      The connecting rod between the sensor unit and the axle bracket tends to break so the computer can’t determine if the car is sitting low or high.

      It’s located on the passenger side rear and is normally hanging down if failed.

      I may have some bits left around to make you a replacement as shown below but check first to confirm it is broken.

      There is another on the front but never had this one fail, probably all the crap that gets the rear one.
