Yes: had visible corrosion on two wheels (and imaginiary corrosion on the other two ) just before the warranty expired: had all four replaced under warranty.

I do a lot of work for Lexus on the marketing side and I know that they are doing very well on hybrids at the moment: so well in fact that there is a three month delay minimum on all hybrid models.
Apparently the captains of Industry who used to drive Bentlys and the like are now demonstrating their green credentials by opting for LS600H's: the order bank for the new model was at 104 a few weeks back. When the last LS was launched at the equivalent time the order bank was...errr......zero.

tracker echo is good as well, its what jeremy clarkson(top gear) has on his gt40. you have to keep a radio credit card in your wallet, so even if someone takes your car with the keys tracker still know.(without you having to report it stolen) they then call you/text message you.
No it isn't. He has CobraTrak from Cobra on his GT. How do I know? Easy...I've got one of the other 28 ;) .
Brilliant system - they take less than a minute to call and text you if there's an anomaly detected. I went for Tracker Monitor on my RX400h

Hi, new round here.
Yes, noticed the same thing - I figured it's because it needs to heat up so you can run your heaters etc. In late summer, I could start and creep out of my drive without the engine kicking in. Now it starts almost instantly.
On a high speed run back from the Alps on Tuesday, I got 24.9mpg :duh:

My summary
- It's not a proper 4x4, but I've never got mine stuck (have now covered 60k miles)
- Economy is OK - I don't seem to be able to better 29.4mpg
- It's fast if you want it to be
- It's easy to drive in traffic
- I ran it as a company car for a couple of years: very low tax for the size of car
- I've never had the Battery issue not starting that some report, even after a three week holiday
- Residuals look good: http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/driving/u...icle4480519.ece
Each to their own, I guess
