  1. There is a fix in the US so I guess it will not be long before we get the upgrade----no glitches on mine to date. Tel
  2. Thrilled for you ------enjoy your Supercar! Tel
  3. In all Modes excluding EV the IS behaves normally moving forward but manifests greater inertia when you take your foot off the gas as the engine cuts-off & the regeneration phase cuts-in. Cruise control operates perfectly maintaining the set-speed & operates both accelerator & brakes to maintain the selected speed. My Brembo Brakes on my previous car were perfect the ones on my 300h lack some progression but are good given the regeneration cycle aids retardation. Tel
  4. Having ran in D for the first 1900 miles I have now driven in the D-Sport Mode once the engine temperature was correct. My conclusion is that it is certainly faster & more responsive than my previous 250 Auto SEL's & a true junior ISF ------chuffed is an understatement. Tel
  5. Used the Paint for years! The pad needs to be damp rather than wet & ,under running water wash- off the paint that has transferred onto the pad.Secondly, wipe gently from side to side rather than stroke across as the latter can easily remove the blob of paint you are actually trying to smooth. Tel
  6. Highs No Spare Bulbs No Beam Deflectors necessary. First Service Station Stop many, many visitors admired the car,a French guy touched the h/lamp washer,& kept walking around the car,a German took photos then as I approached my car he & a Dutchman quizzed me about the Spec etc. A few cars on the Autoroutes slowed down as they passed me-------it was raining & I was driving sensibly.(?). All in D-Mode------French Urban 55 mpg,Jura Mountains near Switzerland 42.8 up,53.5 down,c.85 to 90 mph motorway driving 45mpg. Nil Road Rash Lows------miss the Start-up sounds of my ISF! Thrilled. Tel
  7. Chris, Press the Auto Tune Button to scan for all your Stations--------you should have a DAB Booklet with the car! Tel
  8. I have a few diy CDs that have played perfectly in my in my Series 1 & 2 cars but have been rejected in my 300h In consequence,I have used iTunes to Burn said discs to CD-R & all is fine. Tel
  9. Chris, Ensure you have Set Auto Tune & Search for your pre-selected Stations & with my ISF I regularly re-scanned all DAB Stations to ensure those with the strongest signal were available to me. In 2011 the DAB Signal was weak but by early 2012 it was near perfect. Tel
  10. What does the Lexus Portal actually give you besides enabling Sat Nav programming from your living room? Thanks! Tel
  11. Go on the Lexus GB Web Site & select Contact & "Chat Live" to a Sales Expert Tel
  12. My experience to date with my iPhone 5 is Connectivity is perfect & my only issue is most of my Calls are in 2 Steps eg.Call Tom followed by Dial Tom .However sometimes a List of Contacts appears making me say 1st.before I say Dial as the Contact I have selected is always 1st. on the List. Secondly you can alter your Remote Pointer's ability to grab your target on the screen ----it seems to be almost intuitive highlighting the Option I always Select on a particular Screen-------need to use it more to improve operation & understand its capability. Finally is the System Failures due to selecting the WiFi option or using a certain phone as my 2011 ISF played good Home produced CD's but, surprisingly my F-Sport cannot & can only load one as iTunes now dominate! Tel
  13. Lexus GB have informed me we do not require Beam Deflectors for driving on the Continent as our beams are flat & therefore do not dazzle oncoming traffic-------amazing vehicle! Tel
  14. David, Suggest you set your Home Screen to Nav/ Audio so you have those 2 Key Options to set if desired & use your Info Toggle to Check/Set your Fuel Usage. Tel
  15. Assume you have gone to a local Park & Set-Up your Audio from scratch to eliminate any interference & ensure Auto-Tune etc. is set. The Dealer set mine & it is perfect but I still checked the Settings in SET-UP as the above was crucial on my ISF. Tel
  16. I find it significant that I have yet to read a UK Review of the 300h. that has evaluated the car in any of its 3 Core Drive Modes other than to push it in Tiptronic Guise then criticize its constant gearing & its high petrol consumption-----their ignorance is astonishing---enough said! Tel
  17. It is the Speed Cameras that are visible on the Nav too------an excellent feature. Tel
  18. David, Maybe it is but I still question the need as when i am using the Nav my selected Audio Station ,both of which are on My Home Screen, shows across the top of the screen every few minutes. Trouble is,as I stated in a previous Post.the Technology in our cars matches the iPhone & I do not use 80% of its features! Have you any idea on how to cancel the List of choices when making Calls? I can, sometimes, press the Talk Button, say Call David, the name & number show on the screen & I say Dial-----perfect. However most of the time M Lists all my Davids in my Phone Book & I have to select from the List before the Dial Stage. To be fair the person I want is always First but this extra step bugs me particularly in City traffic Tel
  19. Update on Cups for the Cup Holders-------They are not available in the UK yet! The Hooks for the Vertical Cargo net that are said to be in the boot per the GS do not exist & cannot be bought separately so my Series 2 Net cannot be used yet as Double-sided Tape & Velcro have failed me so far-------GS hooks are pushed into a square hole not round like ours. Drive in D with the Mpg Screed displayed & it defaults to a duplicate Sat Nav Screen----why I wonder? Tel
  20. Ian, There are Ash Tray/Cups that fit into the "Holes"--------they are on the European Lexus Site. They come with a rubber base to maintain silence, can only be supplied as a pair & cost c. £60. Tel.
  21. Strange as I leave my iphone 5 in my jacket hanging above the rear drivers door sometimes & connectivity is fine.Initial set-up was rapid. I have ordered the rubberised lidded cups for the cupholders to further improve passenger comfort. I would advise against using the space under the Battery Cover as air flow from the heat generated must not be restricted. Tel
  22. Ian, The Roof is set below the ABC posts with a gully running its entire length so I cannot see why you believe this holds more rain water. My Boot Lock Panel is not dirty after 3 weeks,400 miles & 2 rain showers. iPhone connectivity excels & my only frustration is that I can sometimes dial a Contact in 2 steps & regularly in 3 steps as I am presented with a list of Contact Options eg. Ian,Ian @ Work etc.It is abundantly clear our diction has to close match M's where as iphone's Siri is more tolerant but then he is a "man"! Tel
  23. Lexus Philosophy is to "pursue beyond expectation" & their JD Power Stats prove they are successful year on year across the Globe. Nothing more to say! Tel
  24. DJP, My F-Sport has Nav/Leather & all the options these come with but I chose not to have the Adaptive Suspension because the D- Mode impressed me on the Test Drives yet gave such impressive fuel figures when driven swiftly. As of today, I will never drive in Prius Mode & rarely in Sport Mode-----D is so good. Tel
