  1. Paul, Tried to do similar but I am An F-Sport nut & there was no AVS equipped NX in the UK so bit the bullet & ordered new. Ordered Mid - December & is currently 7 days East of the Suez Canal. What impressed me I was told in December that my NX would roll off the Production Line on the afternoon of the 28th. of January & it did. Tel
  2. My car is sailing south of the Indian Sub Continent & arrives @ the Suez Canal on the 26th. of this month. The Marine Traffic Ap is excellent. Tel
  3. I prey the revised bushings & AVS on my 2019 F-Sport will overcome the OEM tyres that will be fitted otherwise my Chelsea tractor will disappoint! Tel
  4. Alan,re-above, Hence why my new NX has AVS. Tel
  5. Concern over! Safari does not publish the full specification of my car but Google does ! Tel
  6. Re-The Nosam Issue, My 45K NX Spec. still lacks accurate specification. A Brochure is in the post with its usual Disclaimer. I assume Lexus GB know my Spec. If my Chelsea Tractor is not a real improvement over the 2018 Takumi Spec with AVS I will cancel. We shall see as the US reviews convinced me there is real improvement. Tel
  7. As promised my NX was completed yesterday & is in the Quality Check Phase moving to the Testing Phase prior to Shipping Preparation. As stated previously I find the UK Lexus Twitter Team excellent. Tel
  8. My Deals have always equated to c. 60% over5 the last 20 years The German Marques with Options above Metallic Paint, large wheels & leather have zero value so their costs are potentially huge. Tel
  9. Send your Queries to the Lexus Twitter Team who excel in responding to all Questions in real quick time. They leave Customer Services for Dead. You will not be disappointed. Tel
  10. As demonstrated the number plate comes into focus as you approach the car diminishing the glare of the headlamps. Therefore I conclude the Cam will record all the incident regardless of consequence. Tel
  11. The night time image of the number plate disappoints but I assume is perfect if your vehicle is stationary. The US Lexus Dashcam is a Fujitsu unit FT0112A & has the best spec BUT has that got an issue @ night. I will find out. I understand Toyota /Lexus are releasing a new model in the Spring & @ the point of impact you would assume all of them will read the Number Plate anyway. Tel
  12. Surely it is the cost of change & ensuring ( see above ) you know the Spec of the new model. The IS 300h 2013 F-Sport had !9 inch wheels & AVS as an Option on all Uk Press Vehicles but my 2 Local Dealers could not order one for me. This Time I went to the Dealer with my Perfect Spec geared to my Cost of Change. For the first time ex Demonstrators might be considered---Cost of Change is Key. Dealer surprised me by offering me my Spec on a yet to be launched 2019 Model The rest is history. Tel
  13. Up-date Car Build late January & scheduled to leave the Factory on Monday 28th. of January 2019. Will ship to the UK mid -February ,details of which I will get nearer the time. Tel
  14. Same as Apple Airplay then as I read it but I still do not see the advantage unless you wish to watch videos when you are parked. Tel
  15. Totally ignorant of the above! Please tell me what you gain above my Factory System . Thanks Tel
  16. For 2019, the Nav is said to be more intuitive with enhanced graphics. The Pad may not be everybody's cup of tea but the display itself cannot be bettered. Tel
  17. 2019 NX Full Spec Available----I have the reclining Rear Seats but still not sure on Driver Seat only Memory. Tel
  18. You would think the 360 degree view OEM must come from the door mirrors could be easily modified to monitor side incidents. My NX will have this feature which clearly shows the entire area around the car. If I can source the Lexus Cam the above convinces me that the rear needs cover too. A reordered Incident that shows you were not to blame should erase any liability on your part even if the vehicle is stolen & you are parked in the Tuscan Countryside
  19. Regular Members may recall that whilst I was parked up in a Motel Carpark on The Continent an idiot reversed into my front bumper. The resultant damage was barely noticeable & my Dealer said their Smart System would repair the fault. I had to wait nearly a month for the Smart Expert to declare his system was no match for the superb Lexus Finish & he advised me to take it to a Professional Body Shop. I informed my Insurance a month late who clearly accepted my Story & new Bumper & Trim were fitted. Assume if I had a Dash Cam, I simply send a File Copy of any Incident that happens to my car to my Insurers & they accept immediately that I am not @ Fault & seek compensation from the Third Party Secondly, I assume my 2019 Lexus Cam (?) informs me I need to look @ its footage with the File sent to my iPhone of said Incident. My point is I clean my Car twice per month & know its condition & the Cam requires the Trim to be pulled apart yet never covers the Sides of my Car that seems to be So attractive to Retail Park Customers. Advice Please Tel
  20. Thanks Reading all the Data from above I note that The 2019 F-Sport spec infers that it lacks the 10.3 Nav & no Front Seat Memory but my IS Spec never listed the latter despite its inclusion. Lexus have always been very poor @ Listing an accurate spec ,yet the German Marques even list the cost of a Steering Wheel. In 2011, I Lexified an M3 against the Mk.2 ISF which cost a further 11k taking the M3 cost to 71k v 58k, yet the ISF still had more Toys. & was significantly cheaper to run. In 2017, I did the same with a Mini Cooper S that raised the cost from 21k. to 36k yet the BMW Spec still did not match my expectations. Thanks to this Forum I now have more idea of what I have Ordered & for 45k. my expectation is High. Have a Great Time & Happy Christmas to All Tel
  21. My choice was based on the need to get the revised AVS & no cooling for the vented front seats will not be missed as my ISF did not have this facility due to the Sport Seat Design. What I will miss is the power recline rear seats that Europe has not included. According to the US Reviews the AVS has been further revised along with changes to bushing compliance. Never had a Card Key & are ignorant of its purpose but I do accept the rear seat heat may well have got my grand children to sleep quicker ! Tel
  22. I have ordered a 2019 NX----see New Car in IS 300 Forum as you will find the chat interesting. Tel
  23. Will soon be as swift as my Mk.2 ISF that I previously had ! However, if Lexus Media themselves can get it wrong, who knows what the 2019 Specs are ? Tel
  24. The Press release is full of inaccuracies-----0will chase the full 2019 F-Sport Spec in the New Year. Tel
