  1. Up -date, 1.Struggled to Register on My Lexus but this developed my Key-Board skills & the Nav now works perfectly including Auto downloads to My Favourites in an instant. 2.Noticeable change to steering , acceleration & suspension when in Sport Mode. The car really shifts with a 10% increase in fuel consumption. Have not tested S+ yet. 3.The Gardex System,, which was included in the Deal, appears to have coated the car in Silicone. My Maguires-based suds almost disappeared on each application & wheel cleaning is the easiest ever. Chuffed. Tel
  2. I seriously recommend AVS as the ride is sublime & a real positive to me even with the so-called poor tyres the Factory tends to fit. Tel
  3. Driven a lot in France/Italy & Belgium /Holland & never had an issue & the French always give Signpost Notice. What is an issue is that the Auto-Route Cops have a habit of either parking on the exit slip-road of their numerous tree lined Rest Areas or in front of the Farmers Gate that borders the slow lane. Finally be aware that speed in rain is lower than dry & speeds can be measured between Tolls. Tel p/s Italy is still the Motorists Friend !
  4. Frank, Have you registered your car & its Nav with My Lexus then it will give you access to what is available in the UK. Tel
  5. 4 Points of note after my limited experience of mainly A-road driving. AVS really works & is now fully automated .My F-Sport is very refined. D-Mode mpg indicated is 39.5 & the more dynamic Sport Mode 38 mpg A very silly person stepped off the curb & the car reacted faster than me. Zero Nav issues ,still waiting for the Hard Copy from mr Dealer. Tel
  6. I am surprised your Dealer has not stripped the Back Rest cover off to then raise a case to allow him to raise a Compass Issue that basically Globalises Response. My ISF's drivers seat badly creased on the door-side edge . Lexus fitted a new seat cover with a smaller crease in the same area. Eventually a Coach Trimmer from Birmingham arrived @ the Dealership & 30 minutes later I had a perfect seat Similar issue with the rear seat cushion on my Mk2 F-Sport 300h on Handover ! I am confident your issue will be resolved Tel
  7. Are you adjusting Volume on the steering wheel ? This method normally works. Tel
  8. This Post made me check I have Lumber Adjustment. In a dark garage felt the Back rest & nothing. Looked @ the Seat Base & noticed a large Round Disk. Pressed that & nothing. Then saw a small indent on the Button which allows infinite adjustment. Relief. Tel
  9. Are Ed & Paul really saying that if they say " Dial Home " which is in their Contacts the System says Pardon As mine works a treat & is the very latest version I may well have the latest Nav update that will resolve your issues. Voice Recognition used to be very cumbersome & frustrating but in my very limited experience the Phone System is perfect, the Nav excels when the full address is given & POIs are very comprehensive &, if they do not list your preferred destination ,Google the full address. Either way a visit to the Dealer is required Tel Yesterday I lost my Sat Nav Voice for 6hrs & could not figure it out. Checked every setting & visited my Dealer in Despair. In my ignorance, the Destination Screen shows a voice cancelation button that has the option to activate & is indicated by a fine white line. The Nav is more like an iPhone than ever before.
  10. Have requested a hard copy for the Sat Nav as the Voice Command to a known House no.,Street & City is perfect whilst POI,s huge lists do not always include my target. The Nav is so different to previous yet Phone Fred dials immediately & the ML is awesome. Tel
  11. Peter, All sorted thanks to you. Now I have to learn to trust the View & become less dependant on my mirrors. Tried the Sport + Mode today & the change was significant so I quickly returned to D. Tel
  12. Yes please where is the auto button you refer to My garage is So tight . Thanks Tel
  13. How do I adjust the 360 degree View Screen please so it eases my entry into the garage-----the reverse camera is currently the main view. Tel
  14. Chelsea Tractor commissioned. Bluetooth Connectivity rapid. The AVS ride is Superb despite being equipped with Yokohamas tyres ! The HUD is excellent giving me the best of 3 directions, speed etc. Voice command instant & Access/ Egress perfect. Tel
  15. Too low , no AVS & expensive in full spec. Still say the best looking small SUV is the CHR. No 4x4 however as demand was poor. Tel
  16. My car has arrived @ the Dealership today & handover is on Friday----simply cannot wait. The Ship sailed from Bristol to Belgium & is currently on its way to Malmo. Tel
  17. My Chelsea Tractor arrived In Bristol yesterday tea-time as promised. Ordered on the 12th. of December ,rolled off the Production Line on the 28th. of January & was shipped on the 12th. of February on The Canadian Highway. The Ship called @ Athens & Valencia. en- route & I assume will sail to Northern Europe next.. What have I learnt having being persuaded to have a "New " 2019 Model in the absence of a Detailed Spec. UK 2019 Stock Cars are late 2018 vehicles. Only the Lexus Twitter Team were able to give me my 2019 Specification. My decision to take the hit of the Stealth Tax was solely-based on the numerous US in -depth reviews & my 3 Tests in a 2016 & two 2018 Models covering c. 100 miles. UK & US Forum Data were crucial too. Access/Egress & Adaptable Variable Suspension were musts on what I consider is one of the Best Looking 4x4s on the Planet. Trust I have got it right. Tel
  18. Absolutely The Pack consists of Pan Roof,Adaptive Variable Suspension,HUD,Intelligent Parking Assist Sensors, 14 Speaker ML sound system,5 Driving Modes,Naguri Inlays,360 degrees Monitor, BSM & RCTA. The ES is a nice car & relatively cost effective But the Front wheel drive is not for me after years of Rear wheel drive. I am expecting to drive in Normal Mode initially & hope to achieve c.40 mpg.Afterall it has got 2 Electric Motors & one 2.5 L engine & Indian, & 2 from 6 US reviews have clocked sub 8 seconds 0 to 62 which is good for a Chelsea Tractor. Tel
  19. HUD is Standard ----See Takumi Pack Spec which is good for the 3.5k Price. Tel
  20. Had a 2016 Courtesy NX today {Non Sport] Ease of access/Egress was perfect. The ride on Bridgestones impressed & Sport Mode too.D-Mode is refined. Was pleasantly surprised how there was little wind noise & good stability @ high speed in today's Stormy Weather. The 1.5 inch width increase just squeezes into my Garage. The Nav was challenging & poor in my opinion given there is a Major revision in 2018 & a minor one in the 2019 car that I trust will resolve this issue. Cannot wait. Tel
  21. Car is heading to Gibraltar & arrives in the UK on the afternoon of the 10th. of this month. Handover could be imminent I think not ! Tel
  22. My Super NX will be delivered this month & extensive research has convinced me the only features my " Top of the Range" car will lack are Memory Seats for the Front & Heated Seats in the Rear. When it arrives @ the Dealership, I will check it has AVS, Pan Roof & ML & zero Memory Seats (my current IS was not specced but has the feature for the drivers seat). Will be gutted if my Research has failed me & will cancel if the costly features are missing. Quite Frustrating given how long the NX has been in Production Tel
  23. New Car is now heading to Piraeus in Greece & is due in the UK on the 12th. of March with a number of UX I wager. TEL
  24. I only consider Cost of Change verses Residual Value. Group Stock attracts the most lucrative deals,Factory Orders less so. Tel
  25. The 2019 NX Model has Parking Sensors with screen delay. Tel
