  1. Hi rap03 Your info is not quite correct. The Sports Luxury has staggered Front: 225/45 R17 and Rear: 245/45 R17. Only the Prestige has the same front and rear on 50s.
  2. Thanks people (notice the PC address) this is great. I can't wait 'til 3/Mar or thereabouts to try them all out. It is worth ordering the MM option just to have this much fun with the cheats
  3. http://www.adcritic.com/interactive/view.php?id=5927 (Turn the sound up and be very scared!) From now on I will definitely only eat pizza in a restaurant. No more phone orders.
  4. This URL may help http://techinfo.lexus.com/. It needs a paid login, but I believe I read somewher you can buy a 24hr pass for about US$10.00. Never tried it personally so hope my info is correct. Good luck and safe travels
  5. I don't know the %, but in Aus auto is far more common than manual by a big margin. It seems exactly the reverse in UK. I notice this each year on my annual visit to my sister in Worthing when I have to pay extra to hire an auto car. When I was learning to drive in the UK, an auto box was an expensive add-on, usually only on cars 2.0L and above and the fuel consumption was always higher on auto. The auto technology has improved and costs and consumption are down and yet it is still not as widespread in the UK as some other places - anyone know why? If this is off-topic, perhaps an admin could move it to a separate thread - thanks.
  6. In Australia there are three designations, Prestige, Sports and Sports Luxury. This web page compares them: http://www.lexus.com.au/IS250/is250compari...iew=is250models. They have gone the opposite of BMW and Merc and have loaded the cars and offer hardly any options: - Prestige options: Moonroof - Sports options: MM pack - Sports Luxury options: nil The Sports Luxury should have been called Luxury IMHO as it does not have the sports suspension nor the 18" rims. But then I am in IT and not marketing, what would I know.
  7. Your IS250 looks great, especilly the wheels - well done. I am over 50, so will stick with 17" ones that come standard with my IS250 Sport Luxury due on 3/Mar. The softer ride is better for my lumbago :o Any and all hints on how to use the Nav and Bluetooth better will be gratefully received. I am sure everyone would appreciate them on this forum, or email me at tony@autoapps.com. I will be bringing my IS 250 to Sydney over Easter so look out for a Silver one with Vic plate V IS 251.
  8. I was expecting my IS250 Sport Luxury on 26/Feb. However now been told the 3/Mar because of the huge number of cars they are prepping. They threw in 3 years extended warranty at a good price because of the delay, so not too upset. Plus extra time for the window tint to dry
  9. Same Old Aging Plots Stupid :D Naaaaah your worlds away.....(half a world) soap operas are so called because they were sponsored by washing powder manufactures on radio, in 1947 the first TV opera retained the same name 'soap'. Don't I at least get 1 point for effort I thought these days you were supposed to encourage the slower pupils How about a preview of the next installment before it is published to make up for treating me so harshly
  10. What sort of jokes (if you can call it that) can one expect in the middle of the night!!!!
  11. Working on a Sunday! Are you in IT?
