Thanks Andy - and please thank your girlfriend too. I'm interested in what the black / red rings are for. The bulbs are for use in BOTH 9005 (high beam) AND 9006 (low beam) and I need to know if the rings are just for sealing, or if they affect focus.
A link to the scan is below - thanks again!!;)

So what's a bacon role - is that acting like a pig or summink??
I've been trying to give that up and stick to bacon rolls

Welcome to the club!!
I own a GS300, but I'm sure my friends with IS's will agree that you can't go far wrong with a Lexus - as long as it's got a full Lexus service history it's gonna make you smile - enjoy!!

Thanks for the idea, but Japanese is all squiggles and stuff - pretty hard to type in with a UK keyboard.

Welcome to the club!!
Brakes often clunk a little when you're reversing because the pads move to the opposite ends of their play.

Yeah I know - I blame it on my mother. Still, I'm used to it now - I've had it for a VERY long time.:lol:

By the way, aren't the blue cameras on A and B roads traffic sensors for TrafficMaster? They measure traffic flow, not speed.
I have both a Snooper and a Trafficmaster system in my car. Trafficmaster sensors are blue, but they're tall and thin and sit on what looks like a fairly tall lamp post. The blue speeding cameras are shorter and look a lot like Gatso (except they're blue), and have a large round lens facing traffic. They work by measuring speed across strips in the road.
It'd be worth your while learning to tell the difference!!

Rodders woz here:wow:

Mat is quite right - these things have not been illegal in the UK for about 3 years now - even Halfords sell them.

Does anyone know a UK stockist or importer of Borla exhausts??

I have the same snooper in my car - it's pretty good. IMO, all snopper / radar devices suffer from some degree of false alarms - mine will pick up traffic lights, MWD door sensors etc etc. It's also no good for those new blue cameras that use sensors in the road.
I've been thinking about buying one of the new GPS devices, which has ALL the locations of all cameras programmed in it, along with a GPS sensor that know where you are - you update it by plugging it in your phone line. That plus the snooper will give warnings of all speed traps. I've heard good reports about the Origin Blue GPS unit.

Top job Steve!! - I'm sure we all apreciate your hard work!!

There's a outfit around called ChipsAway - I've never used them but might be worth a call. Please let us know how you get on.
