If you are searching for part numbers on search engines of any type you need all the part number the part number you are quoting is the master number for that specific location of the part say a front fender the various parts that make up the fender will have 10 digit part numbers example 47781-50010.

You need to register to gain the garage app. you could google those part numbers and obtain suppliers that way I did that as part of my research and the shields came in around £25 each.

Hi Paul The first LS 400s in the uk had no options, the offer was an all up full specification my 1990 mark 1 was the 65th car to be imported and according to my Toyota / Lexus dealership as they were up to the late 90s that specification was exclusive to the UK. I think there were several reasons for not offering more options the main one was the dealership set up and why they eventually forced a exclusive Lexus dealership on the franchisees' .

The problem here is that this is not a Lexus spec the seats are not leather and it as a couple of other non Lexus additions. In the UK this does not come close to a Lexus LS400 specification even the colour is not found in the UK issued cars. The Americans love their classic cars and there is an industry built around it but here we tend to stick to classic British and so nothing like the same interest in Asian manufactured post war vehicles. There are a lot of Celsiors for sale in Japan and this is a rare low mileage car but plenty of reasonable mileage examples at half the price so anyone buying this car is paying a premium for the reading on the odometer because everything else is the same and to my mind not worth the extra.

Hi Allan Take off the parking brake assembly and give yourself more room. Tap four new larger bolts into the existing hub bolt holes fasten in a couple of anchors and pull with the puller after applying some heat to the hub bearing housing. The remaining part of the hub should then just pull off ,it is probably seized to the shaft.

I am curious to know how you applied the 12volts to the clutch assembly as this is normally applied via a pressure switch that operates if there is enough refrigerant gas in the system if there is not enough gas pressure within the system the clutch will not engage. This is usually the first sign that the system is leaking

I agree and your point regarding a good retailer is very pertinent I had occasion to take back a Yuasa battery after two years and it was changed without any quibbles but it was purchased from a private family owned motor factor who depended very highly on customer trust.

I always thought the gold badges looked a bit blingy and the chrome is more Lexus if you get my drift.
