Brian..... Lol re the weather...where I live ive not had enough snow to build a snowball let alone a snowman in the last 3-4yrs.... Which to most would be a blessing but not me...I've 2 young kids in house and 2 brand new sledges well saying brand new there 3yrs old but never been used oh and I bought a set of 18" winter tyres and never been fitted sold them to a mate as they wer intially bought for my GS450h so no use for my 600 and went out and bought 19" winter tyres but just taking up room in garage now John... The eclipse is this Friday about 08:45am -
Mines in getting the recall on the "engine fuel pressure sensor" as I write this I recieved a letter last year saying my LS600hl was on the recall list and was just going to leave it till its service in May 15, I had to put my car in lexus for another reason last week and said its also needing recall work carried out, funny thing is following day recieved my 2nd letter of vosa re the recall info on my car, phoned lexus up and they said just as well I'd recieved the second letter as they couldn't of proceeded without it...... Think 1st letter is a heads up that cars in for a recall and 2nd is confirmation, as it says and I quote from my letter " we have now made all of the necessary arrangements with our network and they are ready to carry out the work to have your car modified" Ps EDIT.... Sim22 my letters identical down to date and Our Ref AGGB7 lol apart from my names different 😂😂😂😂😂

Like you I have no warnings so I'm not that bad .... (I must of slipped under the radar lol) Ps only visible to yourself and not to everyone... As I can't see it on yours

As some of you are aware I was drastically ill earlier last year and didn't use my car ( oh I'm 80% better now) had been advised to buy a trickle charge/solar charger for car as it was being parked up for a while but I didnt ..so lesson learned here as I'm putting this down to lack of use of car and especially with it being such a big car with all gadgets draining away at battery..... Next gadjets on shopping list is a solar charger -
Id say defo get a warranty.... Its not a CT I've got but a LS600hl and have just claimed on the warranty for a heated seat in my car.... Replacement part is costing £1350+vat so certainly getting my money's worth of the extended warranty I bought my car for £32k with 24000 on clock 1 owner (lexus UK) everything looked new on car when I bought it (it was 4yrs old at the time) not misused at all and expensive parts can fail.... I'd certainly consider a extended warranty if I was you... Just my view on the matter

Just got my courtesy phone call off Lexus Edinburgh Re my warning messages on dash ..... All down to a knackered 12v battery not holding a charge and low voltage, so new battery ordered at a mere £291+penny's fitted (seemingly a specialist battery with no cheaper alternative) this bill will be picked up by myself as not under warranty Heated seat problem is down to heat Element being KAPUTT so replacement seat base+ leather ordered at a costly £1350+vat covered by my warranty Windscreen washer jets not adjusting so new ones fitted under warranty 😃 (didn't even realise the was a problem with them) Lexus Recall work on fuel servo line being done as soon as parts are in So all going well I shall be sat back in my car (with a warm bum may I add) by the end of week As car was recovered by lexus assist it will be transported back up to me 200mls at no cost I'm a happy chappie 😃😃😃😃😃

I hate the shogun... Had it 2 days now and only done 6mls in it.... 6mls of my life I'll never get back its a bone shaker and need ear defenders... Yes I've been spoilt with lexus's smooth n quiet rides Run132 I don't need any other marque of car to appreciate the LS more.... I could be a salesman for the LS I love it that much Yes if I was given a CT it would be a ornament on my drive as well (sorry CT owners) but far to plasticky inside for my likening

Cruisermark..... Possible.. As just leading up to all warning messages my battery was slightly under powered, not enough to start car but all accessories working fine, hooked up 12v power pack car started straight away then bing bing as all warnings popped up Prior to this I had ran car the day before with no probs, parked her up then 16hrs later went to move her n as above battery not enough juice to start her took car for a wee drive along straight country roads but messages didn't clear (abs n vsc) usually pop up if a battery has been taken off and clear once driven... But not in this case Will wait n see what lexus Edinburgh say and will keep you's all updated -
AA can't sort it so awaiting a recovery lorry to arrive and load it onto back then it'll be heading straight down to Edinburgh ... Getting a replacement car but likely to be a little tiny wee engined run about from a firm up in inverness, so also awaiting for someone from the firm in inverness (which is a hours drive away) to come and pick me up so I can pick my run about up in Inverness .... Why they can't just deliver one to me god knows.... Anyway at my expense of Yous laughing at me I will post up a pic of the tiny little wee small inferior car laters ---- I have my hoody n dark glasses to hide my ID as I drive it back at the ready lol EDIT..... Just as I posted this, company in Inverness just phoned to say they will deliver to my house tomorrow afternoon ....which is fine with me, I purposesly didn't ask what car I'm getting as the shame is going to kill me lol......

just off phone with lexus Edinburgh and lexus assist and looks like the 600 is going to be recovered down to Edinburgh... Which is 200mls away from me but nearest lexus garage Reason why...... Went to move car today and got brake malfunction, abs vsc systems and pcs check warning lights Brake pedal is hard to press.... To dodgy to drive car down to edinburgh so advised to phone lexus assist, Cars still under warranty so will get that all sorted plus heated seat is temperamental (drivers side) covered by warranty lol I did ask as its a replacement element and leather seat as they are all one part, And whilst it's at garage Edinburgh will do the recall work that's needing done AA are on way to me now... I'm at home with car on drive which is a bonus Hope I get a decent replacement car.....
