  1. Agree with the main problem being corrosion where the cable goes into brakes the aluminium oxidises and clogs up the cable run and seizes the cable no amount of adjusting cogged wheel will help... New cable is your real only solution if this is the problem, this happened to my mk4 400 a number of years ago
  2. I've the same problem on one of my chrome door trims, was like that when I bought it from Lexus Sheffield, never noticed it initially but did phone for a quote on a new one and have decided to just put up with it ....stupid price for a bit of trim my quote was higher tho
  3. Thes a meet being arranged on the FB page for Sunday 31st July at the Trafford centre and will be posted up on here once the I have been dotted and Ts crossed lol
  4. You should of claimed a new one for free if they put a dodgy battery in 6yrs ago 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
  5. Double the price plus a bit extra for a battery for my car last year ☹️
  6. My LS had its annual test today.... Lol as per the norm 100% pass no advisorys blah blah blah lol
  7. Don't get starry eyes when viewing one... Keep your senses about you and take your time checking all electrical items, nothing on these cars are cheap to sort, if buying from a Lexus garage make sure/bargain with them for a extended warranty, check heated seats both front and rear work ie put them all on check they are heating up and leave them on whilst you look around rest of car then check later that seats are still heated.... My drivers one went wrong and used to heat up for 5-10 mins then stop heating up, as I had a warranty, seat leather with intrigated heat element was replaced free of charge to myself (£1350+vat) just for seat base leather n element these are excellent cars and you will not be disappointed, as Pat said the HL versions with relaxation pack only have 2 seats in back so if you need the extra room go the 600h not 600hl... Boot space is small for a big car,
  8. Yes you can get diamond cut alloys re-cut but only a certain amount of times as they shave so much off at a time.... I had my wheels refurbed a couple of weeks ago and was speaking to the guy reference a spare set of alloys I have in garage which need re cut
  9. £75 per wheel as their 19".... I dropped car off with the guy in morning and picked it back up late afternoon, all sorted and ready to go
  10. Finally got round to getting my alloys refurbished, never really liked the gun metal colour when I bought the LS so back to stock silver, which also means I've now 5 alloys all the same colour ( dreaded getting a puncture and having to replace it and have it look out of place lol before and after pics why pics have gone sideways I've no idea lol ordered new centre caps as old ones still gun metal
  11. I had a GS450h couple of years back and unknown to me windscreen had been replaced and the gel pad went away with old screen and no replacement fitted so no ends of trying to get it to work would it.... the gel pad (at least on the gs450H ) was fitted to sensor on top centre of windscreen (inside lol)
  12. Maybe you should change your profile pic if you hated the 460 so much lol....
  13. Nope , just a proud Lexus owner with a iPhone camera 😁😁😁😎
  14. Dale lovely car , I was the same as you ref the 400... When I renewed my Lexus to a gs450h initially then back to the fold with a LS600hl I parked the 400 up and couldn't bear to part with it, unfortunately it's been parked up for 4yrs and it has taken its toll of being parked up doing nothing... IE corrosion and everything seizures up brakes etc etc so not worth putting back on road, it was near mint before I parked it up , I keep saying I'm going to get rid n scrap it but it's still down the drive at side of garage and I now have a posh n comfy smoking hut lol as not allowed to smoke in house
  15. Thanks Graham , I have already got myself 2 pairs of ir headsets and they work perfectly and only £20 for both off flea bay, plus they automatically switch off if not being used unlike the original Lexus ones supplied with my car (brand new) ... cheap batterys will not be on my buy list anymore either, lol
  16. I'm the same... Opened up nav manual started reading then closed it again lol
  17. Looks like a load of blood on passenger seat.. From driver who would of ended up leaning over towards passenger seat.... How do I know this.. My car years ago looked the same interior wise with blood after a RTA and severe injures to face and numerous broken bones
  18. Ex army per chance Pete "FV432" drove these and the 434
  19. I found this out in my LS when I had a PCS inoperable warning on dash didn't have a clue what it was so read manual .... Found out why I got warning eventually even after dealer couldn't find the problem and where wanting to replace the sensors at ££££££££££££££, it was my dash cam I'd fitted to windscreen it was obscuring the sensor/camera at top of windscreen behind rear view mirror ....
  20. Katana..... Take the body that's rolled up in a carpet out of the boot might help 🙄🙄🙄😂😂😂😂😂 on a serious note, id be like you and want to change it as now that youve noticed it,it will bug you all the time
  21. Anybody know where I could get 2 pairs of IR headphones for my ls600hl.... I did have a 2sets but batterys leaked in them (cheap batterys bought from local poundland) I've just come off phone with nearest Lexus dealer who can get me 2 pairs but at £120+ vat each (don't think so) I know Lexus are luxury cars and we pay extra for parts etc but that price for headphone .. Nope , looks like kids will have to have wired headphones instead unless someone can tell me where I can get cheaper priced ones
  22. I'm £165 with £400 excess fully comp full no claims garaged etc etc for my 600 currently with ESURE
  23. I have the nextbase duo twincam for front and rear.... Costly (£195)but worth it also records if parked up and ignition off and someone dunts the car
  24. Just the way the light catches it and angle of photo
