RCF Front Inner Tyre Wear
mr2lad replied to BillNick's topic in Lexus F Club - Lexus IS-F / GS-F / RC-F Club
Never had that issue with mine…. Just looked at my 3 sets of alloys n tyres that i have and all been used on car and all bar one of the 12 tyres are wearing eveningly, the one that’s not is a rear and tire pressure checked and its 4psi higher than rest hence middle wearing quicker you need some adjustment -
32 sc430s plus 1 RCF and 1 IS300h lol.. brilliant day and great to put faces to some names…

Currently up in NE Scotland at moment, and will be doing part of NC500 on Thursday, can only do part as itinerary for this week is pretty busy, but it would be rude not to do a bit of it whilst I’m up here…

Cheaper if you stayed in this country and drove to meet….much more fun as well, i can split you in two if your stuck… i have big sharp knives or could tie you between a GSF and RCF and do a tug o war to rip you in 2..more fun for the rest of us as well you have absolutely no commitment to the cause do ya…time for you to hand over your F ownership 😏😂

RCF discs and pads
mr2lad replied to Keith_W's topic in Lexus F Club - Lexus IS-F / GS-F / RC-F Club
Yellow are better designed for track and are really really dust, i made the mistake of putting these on a couple of weeks ago and have regretted it ever since ….but are really good at stopping power if you dont mind cleaning your wheels after every drive… which funnily enough i do that anyways even prior to fitting the yellows -
Nowt slow about me apart from noticing this post…. Flat out on the NC500 route in my lorry, but bimble in the F as dont want a million midges decorating front of car, they generally move out my way any hooooooo’s, as they hear me before seeing me and say ohhhhhhhhhh F its that wee bstard in his ‘Ive a sma willy car’ 😂

Done it many many times or at least parts of it take your time and enjoy and take loads of photos be very very weary of the deer as thes 1000s of them and they don’t give a hoot about traffic take loads of midgie repellant (even that won’t be enough) and make sure you’ve plenty of water/liquids seriously is a lovely drive done it on motorbike Lexus LS600HL SC and part of route in RCF and numerous part of nc500 routes in artic lorry (ps if you meet one be prepared to reverse a distance as some of the roads are basically single track did I mention take loads of photos 😂 scenery is breath taking good god I should work for the Scottish tourist board 😂

Ive ran virtually every car I’ve owned on “cheap nasty supermarket fuel” from 1.0 -5.0ltr be it hot hatches to family cars to performance cars and NEVER had any type of fuel/running problems funnily enough i mistakenly put in super duper expensive fuel and got less mpg than i usually get on the watered downed crap supermarket fake fuel (taking the pee with that description lol) i regularly do a one way 600ml 8hr journey (every 2wks) and leave house with full tank and reach Carlisle to refill for rest of journey up north and have done this for nearly a year on supermarket fuel (Asda’s to be precise) other supermarkets brands available lol but if i fill with super etc fuel have to pull in 50mls sooner or run the risk of having to push car to next filling station… and never felt or needed to add any additives and as i said earlier no running/fuel problems…. Maybe I’m just lucky 🤔

RCF bonnet lifts at speed
mr2lad replied to jonpaul's topic in Lexus F Club - Lexus IS-F / GS-F / RC-F Club
My RCF bonnet lifts slightly near windscreen by 5mm or so and has done from day one, nothings loose or broken happens with the OEM steel bonnet and my 2 carbon bonnets…. Wont lift at all when parked up and i pull on it at windscreen edge, so as far as I’m concerned its meant to do this…one of a kind aerodynamic model 😂 sure i read somewhere this is meant to happen but obviously imagined it as search everywhere and no mention of it -
Ive got nothing by high praises for Lexus Croydon and the staff there, they look after both our Lexus’s … RCF and NX and have always gone above and beyond our expectations yeahhhhh go lexus Croydon lol 😂 sorry but the Croydon team is actually the best I’ve dealt with over my 18yrs of lexus ownerships and dont usually big upa dealer up but in my experience these get 5stars unfortunate you didnt get the same experience but luckily you got your problem resolved

They are available, Ive a triple layer fully breathable and waterproof cover with soft fleece inner layer for my RC F cant remember where i purchased it from as was a couple of years ago, mine can be a bit of a hassle to fit as my cars longer and i bought it slightly bigger which is spot on for getting it tied up and secured 3/4 of the way underneath caras well so no chance of its flapping about in wind came with plenty attached adjustable belts to secure it in place….. left car over 4weeks with cover on with wind rain etc battering it and car looked just as good when i unwrapped it, no dust no scratching or water stains similiar to link provide by 2ddesign above and same price range
