  1. I’m with Hastings ..same spec and age of RX as title , 360 fully comp, named driver and numerous extras,
  2. I bought a tractor to help clear driveway, but with the driveway being chuckie stones (gravel) I made a mess clearing snow, …. So we’ve now sold the RCF,NX and replaced it with the RX450h and I’ve a fully restored a LR defender, so I ain’t getting stuck again anytime soon (ps I’m a Ex REME army mechanic so L.R will always be running 😂😂 and not the usually broken down ones you see) plus it’s a older one with no frills so no tons of electric gadgets in n around engine to go wrong
  3. Wasn’t my age that made me change vehicles it is my steep drive and living in the countryside and not being able to use the RCF in winter time as cant get up the drive, my driveway is 500yds long all uphill (unless im coming back home then its downhill 😂)
  4. Thanks for the comment regardless it was a dig at my grammar initially, but I’ll stick with “would of” 😂
  5. I’ve migrated from the F section as I had a RCF but now have a 21 RX450h fsport takumi, with just over 6k miles on it…. MINT 👍🏻 I’ve had a few models of lexus over the past 22yrs of owning a Lexus , from LS400’s, SC400 GT-L soarer ,IS200, RX400, GS450h LS600hL SC430 NX RCF my next Lexus was always going to be a LC500 V8,but after moving house and having a 500yd steepish driveway meant during wintertime I couldn’t get the F up it,so a LC would of just been as bad, so decided to get a all rounder that will suit our purposes so myself and missus traded in the NX and RCF for the RX here’s the latest edition
  6. Now your making me feel really old….. Lexus weren’t even around when I was in my mid 20s 😆😆😆😆,
  7. Oh I wish I was a merely into my 40s , just realised that in 2 n a wee bit years I’ll be flipping 60…. 😧
  8. Vultures have been, not a lot of meat left on the bones 🦴 now 😂 I’ve apexi smart throttle controller, alloys and a painted C/F bonnet left , other c/f bonnet and spoiler plus other bits are all packed up and awaiting collection by courier tomorrow or day after
  9. Well it’s finally happened after debating about it for a couple of years, I traded in my F at dealership numerous reasons but main ones are, lack of use since retiring and unusable during wintertime due to obviously snow n ice on a steepish driveway, anyways…it was a hard decision as I’ve loved this car from the day I bought it over 5 1/2yrs ago, and spent a fair few pounds on modifications but was worth every penny including all the fuel I burnt up over my ownership and the many miles of roads I terrorised 🤣 I got the best out of it,and although it always looked like a driveway princess, it was driven hard and fast over 92,000 miles and never skipped a heart beat…. I certainly got my money back off it with the grin and wow factor.. will I miss it…… GOD YES I spent the last week putting the car back to as near standard as possible c/f bonnet and c/f active spoiler and c/f wing inserts air intake, wheels ,side front rear body kit and numerous other parts swapped back to OEM, only non standard things left on car are.. red F start stop button and the biggy ARMYTRIX valvetronic weaponised exhaust system, made the F way more fun ohh yeah and louder 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Even took off window tints chrome delete wrap and tints of L badges and rear lights doing this helped me give the car up as it no longer looks like the car I grew to love cherish and owned, I could talk about this car all day 😂 that’s how much I loved it and I ALWAYS looked back at it when I parked it up and smiled to myself and said quietly “you lucky smug show off” end of era and a beautiful relationship and has travelled the whole of uk from north south east and west… last pic is how it ended up after de-grahaming it 😉😂 oh yeah I traded it in for a RX450h fsport with takumi package with 6k on clock, not as flashy as the RCF but neither am I 😂🫣
  10. Did it sell locally or further afield
  11. I live 4miles away from ops seller, and I have travelled to Doncaster ,Sheffield,Bournemouth Bristol,Teeside to get the lexus I wanted from LS400,LS600hl,GS450h,SC430 and of course the RCF, if someone really wants a car they will or should be willing to travel, as we all know Fs are a bitty harder to sell on so I personally would travel part way down if the was a genuine buyer
  12. The is a list of how many but not of trim level ie colour of interior , totted up thes 238 registered in uk
  13. Bugger… i was hoping i had the highest mileage but im less than half that at just over 91k ☹️…well credit to owner off that one for actually going out and driving his F rather than it being a weekend or driveway queen
  14. Way cheaper on fuel than i intially anticipated (was full prior to leaving and filled up just prior to driving the last 4 miles home) and fuel receipts totalled 126.22 and averaged 29.7 mpg over 3 days, first 2 days i was a full on tourist so ambled around (no rush plus was the 1st time my missus had been on the NC500) also booked hotels for later on in the day so had a whole day to see the sights….. 3rd n final day started as easy gentle relaxed drive until we did our last touristy visit to Dunrobin castle, was then given permission of her to drive home like id stole it, so once i left the castle grounds and got onto A9 again, sports settings and exhaust settings (Armytrix valvetronic system) changed to zoom and LOUD and whoosh i was off, 😂 easily would of made pole position in a F1 race 😉😂 i did have 2 hiccups on 1st day first being a malfunction on a remote 12v battery isolater i had fitted 3mths back…. Id parked up and went for a walk and on return wouldn’t let me open car remotely as isolater had switched battery off and wouldn’t let me switch battery on again…. Eventually got socket set out and took off the isolater and car started and was fine… 2nd incident was just as i was pulling into 1st hotels car park i hit a rock and damaged my splitter…. Was fuming with myself then quickly got over it as ive never liked the front splitter id put on, so good reason know to change it lol, every cloud and all that guff i suppose…. Glad i had the splitter on tho or i would of carried on a bit further and it would of been my bumper that took the impact but as i hit the rock i heard the splitter crack so stopped….. but regardless of them very minor issues and not the actual cars fault, the whole trip was PRICELESS,
  15. Ive a 2015 and owned it personally over 5yrs and 75% of the mileage ive put on it and ive got mine up to just over 90ks …never had any issues and every MOT has been a clean sweep ie no advisory’s, ohh and i do all my own servicing myself for the past 3 yrs…. No plans to sell so ain’t paying dealer over selling prices, plus im a skin flint jock 😉
