Don't know why they're more expensive?!?! I've just called Lex One Call to let them know my tyres need changing and was quite impressed. They told me to take it to Kwick-Fit (hmmm, not too sure on that) and they will replace the tyres like for like if that's what I want. Don't mind the Dunlops - they seem hard-wearing, I've done 28k miles and these are the first replacements.

N'ah, but the IS200 came with a free bottle of Lynx and a Daily Mail :D

I didn't get to watch it last night but I'm going to borrow a friend's video. The guys obviously got problems and can't have any 'real' friends helping him out. They'd have advised him not to dangle a kiddie from a balcony for starters...

Hi Matt, yes it was SGT Taplow - I don't think they thought I was a serious buyer. My boss went in for a test drive at a later date and they fawned all over him. I forgot I also test drove the Mitsubishi Galant 2.0 at SGT too. That sales guy was a lot friendlier!

I test drove: Honda Aerodeck - nice but disappointed at the interior and lack of extras (the new one looks as though it'll be good though Alfa Romeo 156 - didn't like it to drive at all. The salesguy also wouldn't let me drive it out of the garage. He drove down the road and let me drive back (?!?!) Chrysler PT Cruiser - what can I say?! It wasn't a serious purchasing choice, just wanted a go! Cancelled the test drive on the Volvo S40 after driving the IS200

Oooh. Not really my cup of tea fellers. Maybe it'll look better in the flesh. Well, we can hope!

Ok peeps. How about we keep Brooklands and Donnington as a Saturday (due to the fact those dates are just round the corner) and I'll try and get the other dates shifted to a Sunday. I've had feedback that this is easier for the vast majority. Cheers, Claire

We went to Cape Kennedy about 3 years ago and saw the memorial to all astronauts lost during the years of the US space programme. It was very poignant. 7 more names to add to the memorial now - tragic.

It could be this new virus SQL Slammer - it affects servers. Loads of websites are running slow because of it

It's too expensive an option for me unfortunately to get snow tyres. I think I'll either be leaving my car at home in severe snow or going on a skid pan course! I think half the problem was that it was all 'virgin' snow that time of the morning ;)

Any of you lot had this? When I turn my steering wheel on full lock it sort of, er, beeps. The first time it did it I thought I'd knocked the horn. I mentioned it once when I took it to the dealership, but they didn't spot anything. Think they thought "we've got a right one here..." Still does it though!

Different class of car, granted, but anyone seen the spec for the new Honda Accord? Hubby picked up his Aerodeck from Honda this weekend and the sales guy gave him a brochure for me (he's trying to persude me to buy Honda next time). I had test driven the Accord before getting my IS200 and hadn't been that impressed with the interior etc. BUT !!!!! This spec looks really good. I'm almost tempted....

I was up at 6am - no snow. Looked out of the window at 6.30 am - lots of snow. By the time I left at 7am there was 2 inches and nothing's been gritted by us. I did a lovely slide round the roundabout and about a mile from home did a perfect 180 degree spin to face the direction I had just come from. Decided to head back home and try and pick up the M4 from Bracknell and by the time I got to Maidenhead to drop off my little'un, I had been on the round 2 1/2 hours. All in all, it took me 3 1/2 hours to get to work in Slough!!!!! Guess who's remembering to take their laptop home tonight, so as I can work from home if it's like this tomorrow
