This sounds a bit a*se about face, but had your employers gritted the car park? If NOT, you probably don't have a claim. If they HAD gritted, you stand a fair chance - by gritting they've accepted responsibility for the state of the car par, and recognised there may be a safety issue (by the fact they've taken action). Weird but I'm assured, true ! -
We're definitely turning up on the Saturday and are umming and ahhing about coming on the Sunday too. Won't be staying over though. I'll have to ask Simon nicely if he'll drive back so I can join you in a bevvy or two !

I've got the same one and I really rate it, the quality is excellent. If you're getting a camera, get optical zoom rather than digital - quality is much greater

Yeah, he takes it all in good humour. He feels like an honoury member of LOC as he was the one who booked me in for a test drive of the IS200!

I've just rung Simon to ask !!! He reckons it's down to the local council/whoever owns the car park, but certainly if you buy 2 tickets in Windsor (cost you a bloomin' fortune though) you are entitled to take up 2 spaces. He also reckons that if you bought 2 tickets, straddled 2 bays and got booked, you would probably get off easily, especially if it's council run - just write off with proof of the tickets et voila :D So no need to park in the parent and child bays (have I mentioned this is a gripe of mine?!?!)

Rx300 Off-road

I went on a recent 'Open Road Event' organised by Lexus where you get a chance to drive different models. We took the RX300 on the off-road course (very mild I'm sure). It was good fun and felt very secure, but I'm positive if you were into serious off-roading you're better off with a Land Rover -
