Ooops, been caught out again! When my husband had his Prelude, he was driving near Heathrow and probably going a bit too fast when he spied a police car coming out of a junction. He slowed down but was pulled over and expected the worst. The copper said to him he thought he was going too fast but couldn't prove it, and would Simon mind showing him the engine. They then spent about 10 mins talking about how good the Prelude and Hondas in general were! I don't mind being pulled over if they want to see how good my car is :winky:

If they're guilty and the proof is conclusive and 100% fail safe, then yes.

They're all entitled to a fair trial, that's what happens in civilised countries (supposedly). I don't think they'll get a fair trial in the US, the UK will probably let them off on community service. Find somewhere that will look at the evidence objectively and base a decision on that. If they're guilty? Then they deserve everything that's coming to them.

My husband is thinking about doing something similar, but starting off with catering for weddings (we'll look to get a Rolls). He's looking into advanced driving courses and Tony Hetherington was a really helpful source of information. To hit the sort of revenue you need, it would probably be a good idea to start by contacting local businesses to offer chauffeur services to their execs. Maybe write a short letter outlining your services then follow up with a phone call. Advertise in the local rags etc. - trips to the theatre, races etc. This'll be good for incremental business. Basically just think about your target audience and what services they are likely to need and market yourself cleverly to beat any near competition

I just can't believe the attitude of the parents! If my boy had done that, I would have paid up to repair the damage. We're already teaching him not to touch cars, open the car door etc. You can't watch them 100% of the time, but a key...in a car park.... Obviously the parents come from a fairly shallow gene pool... Not sure of your chances of success in getting them to cough up, but best of luck anyway

The valeter I use uses Autoglym Gloss Protector. It has a nice finish to it - almost wet looking.
